I figured some of it out. But I am still lost on the reference. I'm only 40, so it must be before my time. I'm a youngster. :o)

AH Bug-Eye Sprite is an old small automobile

S/W = reference to side walk

dig out = must mean shoveling snow

I don't know why you would drive to the corner on the sidewalk instead of digging out to the street. I still haven't figured out the relevance to the photo of the kid being harassed by LEO (which is hilarious BTW).
