I really have to yell about this. I am in the fair industry and I have friends that have invested in a mechanical bull, paid the insurance, the EXPENSIVE fair rents...all for the hope of a decent return.

Now the ARMY comes in with tax payer supplied mechanical bull, reduced fair rent because they are non-profit/gov entity and they will have folks ride the bull FOR FREE—thus eliminating any profit the poor self employed guy that has to haul his bull around from fair to fair just to feed his pie hole.

he has to wait until nighttime when enough folks get liquored up to ride. He has to invest in a sound system. Pay upwards of $1000 to $3000 for a spot at the fair. Two vehicles, one to haul the bull and crap on a trailer, another is living quarters for the season. Logistics! Somethign always going wrong with the equipment...

And now the government comes in and gives it all away for free.

Off topic but .The Army has become a joke . A recruiter came to my oldest boys schools and said the Army is there to help others around the world but when my boy asked about being there for Americans and the constitution the recruiter just ignored him.
