The Central Council of Muslims in Germany proposed that federal authorities formalize two Islamic holidays as official holidays. This is not shocking news, as in some areas Muslims already have that right. Recent polls suggest that in the future the Turks want to see Germany as the country with a predominantly Muslim population. So far they have minimal representation in the legislature.
Germany is Europe's second largest after France in terms of number of residents who practice Islam. The country does not have statistics with regard to the citizen's religion.

The problem here is that several German states have Catholic-related holidays...especially in Bavaria. Plus around Easter, there’s always two holidays built into that weekend...for religious purposes. Legally, I can see trouble in maintaining these. But it goes back onto the Germans for allowing Muslims to come and settle into the country.

Good idea. Germany asked for this and the muzzies will go as far as they’re allowed.
Well, in earlier 1930s Germans thought it was “Judeo&Bolschevisten” who are stealing their wealth and caused their part of Great Depression.
Today they have muslim minorities living at taxpayers’ dime and liberals who are pushing for it.
Let’s wait for a deeper recession to bite Germans’ collective butt and see.
