Buddy, you are confused about what America is. The government here, at all levels, is CONSTRAINED BY THE CONSTITUTION. The Constitution says we have the right to keep and bear arms, and that the government shall not infringe it. If it does, it is THE GOVERNMENT THAT IS IN THE WRONG, not me. Here is America, the people act as a check on government. That wasn't true in Paul's Roman Empire, or whatever commie country you live in.

To say I would put that kind of faith in some “earthly thing”, is ridiculous. I use “earthing things” to help me, not to worship. Guns fall in that “earthy thing” category as well as every thing on earth.

UPS just delivered a package to me. It was Remington 300 count 22LR hollow points I ordered back in January. God gave me the intelligence to search and find those cartridges to order in January. He also gave me the intelligence to find a Ruger 22LR rifle in February and CCI 22LR hollow points.
Do I worship that rifle and those boxes of cartridges? No, I worship the God who allowed me to find them. As a widow living alone, God was looking out for me. ROTB can stand there and die if he wants, but God wants me to live using the defensive methods he gives me.
If we are supposed to wait on God for EVERYTHING to be given to us without any effort on our part, we would all be dead in three days without water. If our water is gone from the pipes, do we sit down and die because it left and we would have to find some? With ROTB thinking, if God wanted us to have water, it would be delivered to us, so sit there and die.
The more I think about this, those on welfare would fit ROTB’s thinking - they sit and the check is delivered to them to pay for their water and food. With that thinking, you and I are committing sin not to be on welfare and have our needs provided to us. BS.
The minute you get on your knees in front of your couch/pillowcase or the washing machine and pray to any one of them, you have a problem.
I have a great fondness for my new PINK Roger 22LR rifle with its 25 Ruger made magazine in it and about 1,000 rounds of 22LR hollow points, and the rifle is lovely resting on my pink marble topped coffee table, but it's a dumb piece of equipment. It is God I pray to, to give me the smarts/strength to use it well since He allowed me to find it and purchase it.
Any time you feel the need to pray to a dumb piece of anything on earth, let me know and we'll discuss it over a Margarita made with quality ingredients I have at my house.
I think I’m talking over myself and obscuring my point. My bottom line is, that no human has ever existed who had as much faith in God as God deserves, because no human has that capacity.
Jesus gave us freedom from the consequence of sin thats true and I am thankful for it.

You and I disagree. Re-read the book of Jonah. A holy restoration of Christian living through humility before God, repentance, turning from sin, and prayer for our fellow countrymen and Christians will stop the coming destruction.

When the government violates the Constitution and sends police/soldiers door to door to collect guns AND those citizens the government visits assert their 2nd amendment rights and shoot the soldiers/police in violation of Matthew 26:52 and Romans 13:4 and Titus 3:1 and 1 Peter 2:13 it does not matter who is in the wrong, since both of the aforementioned kick off CW2, which INVITES INVASION by China / Russia / friends.
I wouldn’t be surprised if China / Russia / friends don’t have “patriots” shilling here on FR and other Christian / Conservative forums for CW2.
If CW2 starts and rises to a fever pitch, it makes parking some submarines off the coast, nuking and EMPing us, and then invading with troops so very much easier.
