In Germany, architecture is being "de-Christianized". Entire new neighbourhoods and urban areas are being built without a church in them: churches are just not planned in the projects, as if nobody even thought of them.
The German Catholic news site Kreuz reports on this phenomenon with examples from an article by architecture critic Dankwart Guratzsch in the daily Die Welt.
In Stuttgart, a large new district was built for 12,000 residents without a church.
In Hamburg, another new neighbourhood for 12,000 residents was created without a church. Not only that: to realize this project, 19 churches were closed down, probably because they were in the way. Made disappear in the blink of an eye. Under the pretext that nobody had requested them.
Some people, however, did protest, and to make them happy they were provided with a small chapel with just thirty chairs, hidden on the ground floor of a battered-facade office building.
This does not look like an accident, but a plan to make the signs of Christian faith disappear in a cold, calculated, cruel way.
Writing in Die Welt, Guratzsch quotes the son of the great philosopher Hegel, Immanuel Hegel, who advised: "Build churches!". Because, adds Guratzsch: "To build churches means to build communities. When the faithful are deprived of the visible testimony of public recognition of their values, the latter are also weakened for the believers themselves".
Guratzsch recalls how the same was happening during the time of the German Democratic Republic, communist Germany: churches were being demolished to humiliate, offend, isolate religion and inculcate atheism.
A Europe without churches and without strong Christian roots and values will be much more vulnerable to a threat similar to communism: Islamization.
Eurabia...just around the corner....because those who don't stand for something won't stand for long.
Hollywood and others of their ilk who claim to be “liberal” have purposely targeted those of Christian heritage while they work to pillage the assets of the USA. They have intently worked to create a politically divided America that is gullible to their MSM media, political and financial propaganda.

Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess.
You either believe it or don’t.
Just another encouraging sign that time is ending.
Cheers!
This is a taste of what smart growth/urban planning has in store for us.
what about mosques? I guess they will allow those?
Europeans fought several wars to retain their cultural and national identity. Now in the interest of “multiculturalism”, they have allowed in people who have no interest in assimilating the local culture but instead are hell-bent (so to speak) on establishing their own culture.
Europe is committing cultural suicide in slow motion. It will soon be too late. But this crisis is religious in nature and religious ideas can only be fought on a religious plane. That is to suggest that when Europeans wake up they will look for a religious force to counter the one that is conquering them.
Maybe in a last ditch effort to save themselves and to save Europe, the ruling elites will once again make a Faustian bargain with the Roman Church. That is a plausible path to the events in Revelation, where a Beast (the secular government) and a False Prophet rule Europe and eventually the world.
In a few years, they’ll be bulldozing entire blocks of those houses they just built. And they’ll build giant mosques in their place.
Expect to see mosques spring up.
How odd.
When I bought property I bought land beside a church and even thought of architecturally tying the two together.
Churches — although weak-kneed and fallible — are still the last bulwark against evil — whether fighting Nazism in Germany in the last century or Obamacare in this century.
I am spending the winter in a town with a population of between 3000 and 3500. Thirteen churches. Two bars.
Just like the old DDR.
Build all the churches you want. The buildings won’t christianize people who have expelled Jesus from their lives and who deny the presence of the Holy Spirit. When the Europeans are ready, they will return to Christ...and be martyred by their muslim masters. That is their destiny.
In the US, we are moving away from religion with traditions and morals to the consumer-based, “do anything you want as long as you put money in the plate” churches. We’re only one or two generations behind Europe in our secularization.

Hitler would be proud. (Yes, I said it, and you know it’s true)
Churches... are still the last bulwark against evil....

Oh, I quite agree. Evil has arisen in the world in inverse proportion to the decline of church attendance.
My attempt at being sardonic failed, I suppose.
Sects are “weak-kneed and fallible” for they were founded by mere men.
The Church, however, was founded by Christ. It is not “weak-kneed” - it teaches even the angels (Eph. 3:10) - nor is it fallible - for it is the pillar and bullwark of the truth (1 Timothy 3:15). Men in the Church can be “weak-kneed and fallible”. The Church, the Bride of Christ, the Body of Christ, can not.
