I applaud Dean Garrison for having the guts to say what needs to be said. We need more right-wing pundits, bloggers, and yes, Republican politicians, to stand up and say the same.

I say fight. But remember to choose your battles.

It’s critically important that the government fear it’s citizenry.

This government has created so many dependent citizens that there is no longer any fear.

Fighting the machine may feel good, but it will end up with results similar to Irwin Schiff.

I will fire upon any government representative who attempts to usurp my liberty, even if that means my own death. I have no problem saying it. My soul is prepared.

I believe that’s up to the individual...and the odds of actually living through it and not spending the rest of your life at someplace like Gitmo. Do you really want to kill some cop or military member that may have a family and is just obeying his CO? I don’t how I would feel firing at someone wearing the same uniform I once did.

And to be clear, the right to keep and bear arms PREDATES THE CONSTITUTION. This right existed before any government decided to recognize it.

This is a fundamental human right. To defend oneself from violence and death from any attacker in any numbers. It is a God-given right that is inherently derived from the God given right of a person to live without being murdered by others, or violently assaulted and injured.

And please don’t fall for thse who equate all killing with murder. All murderers by definition, kill. Not all killings are murders. There is justified killings. In the case of self-defense. In the case of protecting others, and your property. If you run into someone who refuses to understand the difference, cut your losses early and just let em go, they are not smart enough to discuss this with or they know the difference but don’t care and are just pushing your buttons.

Not only do you have the responsibility when they come for your guns, you have the responsibilty to fight when they come for your neighbors

Me too. While I do not wish to die, I have no fear of death. I do fear being starved to death in one of obama’s camps to the extent that if faced with either being killed or voluntarily going to one of obama’s camps, I will die resisting.

If 30 cops and a SWAT team show up to take your guns will you fight knowing you can’t win? Or do you go along and live to fight another day? I can always get more guns.

There are bad cops and they should be resisted. However a bad cop’s word will most likely be taken as valid over a citizen.

Fight. But...

And you know what everything before but is.

If lethal resistance is not universal and automatic, what the system will do is simply pick you off one by one, until there’s no one left.

There is nothing left of the Republicans in the House or the Senate to avoid a full civil war. The communists training within the American people and the complete system will force what is left to fight. Lock and load. Confiscate of our weapons will result in a total loss of civilian control and we will slip into a total dictatorship.

I agree, taking another’s life is relative.

Silly. If they come, we’ll know ahead of time. My guns will be in locations unknown to them. they aren’t going to come back every month. I’ll keep one cheapie around for protection that they can have.

Of course, I don’t live in a city, I have room to hide things where they won’t be found.

I predict, they will not come for your guns. They don’t have the numbers to get it done. The method they will use is quite simple and requires very few people to be effective: it will work something like this; deadlines for turning in registered guns will be set and if citizens fail, first fine is $5000, second failure $10,000 etc. The have the power to electronically remove funds from your security accounts with a few keystrokes on a remote computer—this means from your checking account, savings, or by wage garnishment. This is how they will work it. Very few will be willing to go all in cash, and when you do withdraw more than 10K, current laws require reporting. I guarantee taking your money, wages, property will be a very powerful incentive to submit. Think about how to escape this tyranny—these bastar*s will kill you with swat teams if you resist. They have all the latest technology in their favor.

As you most likely know the military is trained to question orders they may feel are unlawful. And then to refuse to obey it. I for one have spoken to numerous others in the military and none have said they would go along with orders to confiscate guns. Several were very adamant that they would not only not obey but would take part in getting rid of those giving the order.

I carry two copies of the US Constitution while at work. I challenge and engage Soldiers frequently about what is and is not Constitutional.

Do you really want to kill some cop or military member that may have a family and is just obeying his CO?

It's not a matter of wanting to. No one does, but having to. Do you think this theoretical discussion is any different than the actuality that happened to the Jews in Nazi Germanny? The russian citizens who were takes to die in the gulags? The Armenians who were sent on forced death marches in Turkey? The intellectuals taken to their deaths in Cambodia? I wonder if you could ask them the same question what their answers would be.

And BTW the Nuremburg trials established that following orders is no excuse even for military. It is far less of an excuse for police. They can just quit with no consequences if they don't like their orders. They wont be shot for desertion. I'm guessing that most of them won't have any problem with following those orders, and therefore there should be no moral dilemma about shooting them.

I have a better idea. Somewhere on your land you have an underground safe spot to hide your guns and ammo. I have six acres of land. Good luck to the hick town cops if they try and find them, which they won’t.
