The problem is that it’s in a location where no tourism exists. Nobody goes through Michigan. So unless you were a local who had interest....that was the only people to visit.
Walter P. Chrysler - the true father of our country.
We cant be showing off proof how great the USA once was burry it.
Either this article is incorrect about the Chrysler museum being the only single-manufacturer museum, or there’s something I don’t know about the Corvette museum in Bowling Green. Yes, technically, the Corvette museum is about a single model, rather than the entire manufacturer (Chevrolet/GM), but I would assume Chevrolet/GM runs the museum, and therefore it is also a single-manufacturer-run museum.
Seems to me the Left has been pushing their hatred of this country, and everything about its history for so long perhaps that is why such a museum showcasing such history, and especially the horrible polluting autobehemoths of the past would be less then viable anymore.
Only car enthusiasts go to these Museums.
Fact is that any car show in most any State in the Union is a better way to view classic cars than a museum.
Cheaper larger, better selection ,unless you are interested in pre 1930 cars.
I recently visited a museum in Sarasota Fl. It wasn’t expensive, but the cars had been sitting there for years and many were not museum quality cars, some showed the ravages of sitting without proper care. I have never attended a car show that did not have a better selection except for their pre 1930 automobiles.
