The problem is that it’s in a location where no tourism exists. Nobody goes through Michigan. So unless you were a local who had interest....that was the only people to visit.
Not quite so....
From a vacation standpoint going to the Tigers, Lions, Redwings, and the Henry Ford Museum outstrip the monies earned from the shores of Lake Michigan. Who would have thunk S.E. Michigan as a tourist destination.
Their is a new Auto Museum at the east end of the parking lot the Henry Ford Museum, I am not sure how land locked it is, but move this collection their if they added a 2nd or 3rd floor?
Or...
Find a location at the intersections of 94 and 75 or 94 and 23, the 1st are two major trade roots via truck if you do your research and locate it and maybe other rotating collections there. Make it accessible, they will come. Then again we have generations of kids now who could give a flying crap about something like an Aurburn or a Cord and are more interested in the latest App....
