Hoping to encourage other Americans to participate in "Small Business Saturday" as an alternative to big chain-friendly Black Friday, President Obama today visited an Arlington, Va., bookstore to cross some items off his family's Christmas list.
Accompanied by his daughters Sasha and Malia, the president journeyed across the river to One More Page Books, which the White House described as an "independent, neighborhood bookstore." After consulting his Blackberry for an apparent holiday wish list, he purchased 15 children's books before even browsing the store.
"Preparation," he told shop owner Eileen McGervey, according to the reporter who covered the visit for the White House pool. "That's how I shop."

He “journeyed across the river”, did he?
What a guy....
His commie elves take from the productive and provide all the goodies for the selfish and shiftless who elect him...
...Obama Christmas shopping is like the Easter Bunny shopping at Wal Mart for Easter Baskets.
His daughters are too old to be reading Children’s books. Who did he buy them for?
Michele still reads at 3rd grade level.

He, ‘Went out amongst the English,’ as the Amish around here say, LOL!
“Dick and Jane At The Seashore” is probably advance literature to this hyper-overated dumass...without Soros pulling his strings he would totally collapse from terminal stupidity...
...the only ones more stupid are the ones who reelected him.

No way! She knows how to READ??
I say we do a Small Business Shutdown on inauguration day.
In protest of MARXISM.
And most independent bookstores are wildly liberal in their politics (as well as having the rudest employees on earth!) He’s a total fake.
If it’s a food menu, she’s a speed reader.
The GOP was right he is a nice guy
How common. (meant is an negative sense as can be meant)
I spent the afternoon in a number of local shops, including a book store - but not as a publicity stunt, but because that is my regular habit. I don’t do Black Friday and except for a bicycle for our 14yo (which is on lay away) I’m not doing big box stores this year at all.
