Seems to me that this satire is pretty close to the mark of this administration.
Thank You, John Semmens. I always look forward to your truth.
Worth every ping you can lay on it, John.
Ol’ crackers be dissin’ O’s ho.
Thanks for the ping; bump you back.
A dozen female members of the House of Representatives have rallied to her defense. Ambassador Rice was just following orders, Representative Marcia Fudge (D-Ohio) declared
Now where have I heard that before?
Oh yeah. That was the excuse the Nazi used for slaughtering the Jews.
Semi-satire today, policy tomorrow. You are doing well to keep ahead of them, John. (8^D)
Now I’m scared. I didn’t get it until I read the Comments. Reality is too close to Absurdity.
You’re scary sometimes, John.
Another great one!
What a mess.
Hell of a web woven.
Turn this ship around, dammit.
Patraeus hooked, Congress looked, Rice cooked, Prez booked.
The new race card, womens rights! even when thier wrong. This allows them NOT to be critisized and or questioned on anything they support, encourage or do. This is the kinder gentler early showings of totalitarianism where the end result would be death for the thought of critisizing or questioning. We are being weened and suckled into our demise.
Sounds about right to me!
My grandfather was approaching middle age when Women’s Sufferage came to the vote. He told me he was all for giving women the vote and glad at the time when they won. He said the ‘old men’, many who had fought in the Civil War, shook their heads and said it was a bad mistake. Shortly before my grandfather died he too shook his head and said, “It was a very bad mistake.”
I have a great friend from the Phillipines that once told me when a water buffalo is to be slaughtered for meat by a rural farmer that he must remove the beast to a remote location from his farm for butchering or the other beasts would gather together becoming beligerent and agressive for days if they were in the vicinity of the butchering.
The fact is, there are those who duck behind gender and race (”Don’t hit the girl!” or “Why you always picking on the poor black folk?”), but there is such a thing as bullying from a seemingly inferior position, to use this as a form of tyranny, by appealing to a sense of “fairness” in the minds of others, while simultaneously applying no such standard of “fairness” in their own conduct.
A completely amoral and dirty means of combatting the good intentions of others.
