I started a prayer thread for Romney last week prior to his debate. Things went well. Thought we should do it for Ryan.

Thank you, Father God, for blessing us with Paul Ryan. Give him quick wit, clear thinking and keep his love for you in his heart and gird him with strong shields as he goes up against a mighty opponent tonight. Please let him feel your presence, let the opponent’s heart be softened and let Ryan become a beacon of light for your purpose, come whatever may. You alone are God.

I lift up the debates Thursday night, and Lord, I ask for a good debate, but that wisdom will be used by all who listen. Lord but most of all, I lift up the United States, because Lord, we as a Nation have rejected your laws, and our sins are great
But your word says in II Chron 7:14 that if my people shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven, will forgive their sins and heal their land.
Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
We see corruption in our Government, we see millions of unborn babies aborted, we see our economy in shambles, rises in divorce, and increased wickedness and perversion, and Lord there are threats around the world that bring us closer to Nuclear war
Lord, we pray and seek your wisdom and your help to heal our land and to bring understanding to those who do not know you as Lord. Guide the debates and I lift up Paul Ryan and i ask that you give him wisdom to do well in this debate.
We know Lord that in your word, it says you are in control and you raise up Kings and you can remove them as well. Lord we pray for this election and for strong Leadership to take control to heal our land
We give you praise Lord Jesus and we thank you for hearing our prayers.

Come Holy Spirit, guide and enkindle the fires of liberty and goodness in the heart and intellect of Paul Ryan. Stay close to him as he faces an opponent prone to meanness and untruth. Inspire the Congressman’s words and strengthen his message to our fellow citizens. We pray in the name of the Father and of the Son. Amen
