Seeking revenge, author of gay Green Lantern will give Brazilian boyfriend to his hero
By Julio Severo
DC Comics writer James Robinson declared that he has received many messages criticizing him for having homosexualized the original Green Lantern, Alan Scott, who now is forced to be a homosexual. The strongest opposition, the bitter scriptwriter says, came from Brazil.

James Robinson: seeking revenge from Brazilian fans of Green Lantern |
The most hostile criticism Ive received was hostile tweets from Brazil. I had been out and the next morning I was like all right, my liver is murdering me and someone was like, your liver is punishing you for what you did to Green Lantern, said Robinson according the CBR.
So, just out of spite, when Alan Scott can love again the man in his life is going to be Brazilian, decided the writer, who is unwilling to accept criticsm from the Brazilian public.
Although newspapers have not specified any Brazilian name from the criticism the scriptwriter received, Blog Julio Severo, in in Portuguese and English, launched an article so soon as news came from gay activists that DC Comics is succumbing to their stubborn demands. The articles against the homosexualization of the hero are these:
If the Brazilian public keeps annoying the American, he will eventually create for his homosexualized hero a harem of Brazilian gays.

What a pissy little bitch.
Still, it's funny that the Green Lantern is going to have a little barrio boy from Brazil. Maybe a Carnivale drag queen. That really ought to dignify the goofy relationship and advance the cause of gay acceptance.
Such drama. Aye carumba!

author of gay homosexual Green Lantern will give Brazilian boyfriend to his heroI wish that this website, FreeRepublic, would force all posted items to refrain from using "gay" to mean homosexual. I'm so fed up with this happy-ass term being used to describe sodomite perverts (redundant?) instead of the more appropriate "homosexual" to describe their behavior.
If they're so proud of their behavior, then they should be able to stand being called exactly what they are.

His yapping proves he wants attention from homos. The fact that
he writes a non-English blog proves his extreme perversion.

I'm confused...
DC gives the guy the privilege of writing the comic and he then goes and offends the people who buy the comic?
When they don't like it and tell him so, out of spite he decides to punish his employer's customers?
Is DC so well off they keep him employed to piss off their customers? The correct response should be Hit the road and sell it somewhere else.

The obvious response to this are parody comics on the Internet.
They could be savage in all sorts of interesting ways, such as making the GL a pedo; changing the color of his ring from green to rainbow colors; using his ring to turn criminals gay; make him flamboyant, a cross dresser or bondage type, etc.
Have him desecrate Catholic churches, and fight “the legion of Boy Scouts”.
To: GBA
The edict to make GL gay came from above the writer. He was tasked with the job.

Which reminds me. I once saw a poster in a beauty-salon window promoting the Brazilian Blowout. And I asked myself...what sane woman would want to have that hair blowdried straight?
