Why I am a Democrat

So some friends posted this in a email today an article written by a Conservative in jest about "Why I am a Democrat" Well it got us to thinking and it sounds like a good project to collect some Freeper ideas on this. Here is my stab at it:

I am a Democrat because unalienable rights come from GOD and as a new age atheist I believe our rights are privileges from an all knowing Government run by Liberal Intellectuals who are smarter than the hay seeds in fly over country who still cling to their guns and religion to explain a complex world beyond their limited brains.

Im a democrat because I dont have to justify my assertion that I am the most intelligent person in any argument with facts.

I have a PHD in Green Bean mating habits and French short stories.

I am a Democrat because I think that all people should be happy and I think that all governments should be for world peace and I think that all those in conflict should lay down their arms for world peace. When that happens, I will be happy (at least for a while).. hehe.

I am a Democrat becasue I hate babies and like seeing them aborted and their body parts sold.

I hate Republicans because....well, because.

I am a Democrat because I love never having to make sense, endure accountability or responsibility, making up the rules as I go along.

I am a Democrat becasue I never have to use reason to defend any of my positions.

I am a Democrat because even though most of us are 1% I am down with the 99%.

I am a Democrat because I think my rights are given only by the government. God has nothing to do with where my rights come from—in fact, God has nothing to do with anything. I am my own God.

I am a Democrat because other people SHOULD pay for everything I want, even condoms and birth control pills.

I am a Democrat because I hate America, the Constitution, and myself.

I am a Democrat because I am an enemy of freedom.

I think it is OK for the Feds to make 18 cents on every gallon of gasoline sold and it’s OK for the States to make 35-55 cents per gallon, but it is a mortal sin for the “Big” oil companies to make 4 cents.

I am a Democrat because I believe medical "choice" only applies to a few cubic inches of a woman's body during her fertile years, but not the rest of her and absolutely no part of a man's body.
