At Amazon, go to “Manage My Kindle”. Next to each book you’ve purchased, it’s got a drop down box, you can specify where (which device) to deliver. You would select your PC.

You downloaded it successfully, (as far as you know), but can’t access it to read on your Kindle for PC app? Is that the problem?

Well, It went to a Cloud Reader, I synced that with my Kindle PC, then DL'd it to my PC Kinfle.
Looks like I've got it now.
I didn't like all of the 'registering' I had to do. But, I've got it.

Just pulled a copy into my iPad and will forward the link to a dozen or so like-minded friends. My paper copy was loaned out long ago and then flood-damaged, so many thanks for the replacement.
I'm thinking of posting the link in a few other forums this morning; perhaps there should be a list of that started here to avoid duplication. Anyone post at ARFcom, FALFiles, etc., yet?

Thanks, I appreciate it. Plus, now you can get anything in the Kindle Free Library with a click. There are entire websites dedicated to those free books. Some, like mine, are just on short free promotions. Many classics from the ancient Greeks to about WW2 (out of copyright, public domain) are there all the time.

Is the formatting all right? It should have spaces between scenes like this:
****
And then the next scene.
Is that how it looks? I already downloaded it, and it won’t let me redownload it.

Formatting looks fine to me, complete with asterisks separating scenes.
I'm using the PC version of the kindle reader, btw.

No prob. It was actually pretty logical.
As you said, this opens up a lot of free stuff for the KINDLE. I already have a huge PDF book DL library from other free sites. Have to get another HD now...heh heh heh.

Is there any way to get it in a format that does not require me to be on-line to read it? I’ve got it in my Kindle Cloud Reader (I don’t own a Kindle), but would like it on my PC.

Kindle for pc
It's what I'm using .. the app is a 24mb d/l, then any books you d/l are stored in the app on your pc for reading on/off line.

Thanks for the screen shot, which happened to describe the cascade of football fans being pushed and dragged over the upper-deck railings, to fall a hundred feet onto the fans packed into seats below.
And that is all in the first few pages.
It would be an awesome movie. Too bad it will probably never happen.

Travis, I purchased all 4 of your books last month and tried to download the free EFAD, but it won't let me. I get a message telling me I already purchased this book. Sorry I can't help out, but I did tell a few people about the free download.
I do have a complaint about EFAD. I lost a LOT of sleep over a couple of days reading it!! I couldn't put it down! Great book!

Did you buy the physical books or the kindle version? I think if you download the kindle for PC/iPad/Mac/whatever app you could download it again to that "kindle". Just a guess, though.
