Sounds suspiciously like a remake plot of “The Gods Must Be Crazy.”

How do they know it fell from space?

That's an easy one. The earth is in space. If it fell off a table on earth, it fell from space.

Metal ball!
Metal ball!

I thought it said meatball.

Anyhoo, I once saw a real-life, all-true, totally undsputable documentary about a Coca-Cola bottle that fell from the heavens.

Totally messed those people up.

Then they oughta be careful. Hydrazine is incredibly toxic and carcinogenic. The Russkie space workhorse, the Proton rocket used hydrazine and its spent stages litter the steppe and tundra. The Siberian natives recycled materials used in the stages they found and suffered poisoning as a result.
