His Mormonism didn’t seem to affect his Governing of Mass. However, his idiocy did and that concerns me more.

“Affect” Instead of “Effect”

I corrected it at my blog site, but thanks for correction.

“So most of the time affect with an a is a verb and effect with an e is a noun. There are rare instances where the roles are switched,” From Grammar Girl at http://grammar.quickanddirtytips.com/affect-versus-effect.aspx

We’ve lost this nation because we continue to argue over trivialities which we consider important.

A politician’s philosophy on government is what’s important. Pelosi is Catholic, Obama is a Christian...blah blah blah. Their religion does not matter. Their governmental philosophy does.

“A man of character is what we need.”

Character is rather subjective - means different things to different people. How about some nuts and bolts descriptions of what good character believes. Ten Commandments? Book of Mormon? Bible? Rules For Radicals?

Example: Barack Obama’s Leadership and Character Traits
Citizenship is the character of an individual viewed as a member of society or their behavior in terms of the duties, obligations, and functions of a citizen. President Obama demonstrated very eloquent citizenship when he worked as a community organizer in the south side of Chicago:

Obama is a Christian

He grew up in and atheist household. Sat in a pew listening to a preacher who preached anti-white, non Christian (Jesus is Lord) sermons. Kowtows to Muslims (spent time in a Madrassa). Christian, I think not.

Romney is a gay-loving, gun-grabbing, culture of death-supporting, big-government-loving statist. There is no basis to the issue of how his religious beliefs impact his electability because he is an f-ing fraud when it comes to his “republicanism” or “conservatism”. No conservative should ever support him because he is a fraud.

Piss on Romney and ALL his sycophants.

“His Mormonism didn’t seem to affect his Governing of Mass”

Mitt as Gov was like Kerry on the Swift Boats. Both were acting out a gig to use the cred for later ambition. Mitt ran for president starting Year 2, according to a columnist in the Herald.

The real question is how would his Liberalism effect the country.

In my grade school there was a Catholic Jew. Her mother was from Cuba, and her father was from Israel. Her name was Carmen Cohen. She went to temple with her dad, and mass with her mom. Her mother called her "Carmen," but her father called her "Cohen."

By the time she was in sixth grade, she didn't know if she was Carmen or Cohen.

A former Catholic Mormon is a Glenn Beck!

Actually, according to “The” church, he is just a lapsed Catholic.

The real question is how would his Liberalism effect the country.

I don't know, but I know that Conservatives can afford to have a Romney administration about as much as we can afford to have another Obama administration, which is to say we can't.

I know this: At some point we have to make a stand against all liberals, including those with an (R) next to their name. To paraphrase Jim Robinson, we have not left the GOP, it is leaving us. If Romney gets the nod, it's time for us to take the Tea Party movement to the next level.

Not nearly as much as his end justifies the means unanchored philosophy. Maybe if he actually had some firm spiritual standard his faith would be an asset.

One of the most important things the next president will do is appoint justices to SCOTUS. I wouldn't count on Mitt Romney not to appoint another Kagan or Sotomayor if for no other reason than to appease the left.
