bob mccarty from biggovernment.com does a fine job in tying "gunrunner" directly to obama. check out the cool link. geez, at least breitbart finally gets it. drudge however...seems to be set on covering murdoch.
These early links to Project Gunrunner don’t necessarily add up to involvement in GunWalker/Fast & Furious. They may well be linked (and I suspect they are), but that connection hasn’t been uncovered as yet. We have to get them discussing GunWalker/F&F.
I keep sending emails to my senators/congressmen with the nice little immediately response that they will get back with me by mail if I included my address. I think their working on the form letter now.
Here’s my letter:
When are you going to do something about this? Are hearings on the way? The left has put the American people in harms way. This is worse than anything any president has done. No president (that we know of) has put Americans lives on the line. This HAS to be illegal. Please respond.
Lets Arm The Mexican Drug Cartels With Thousands Of Guns And Continue To Leave The Border Completely Wide Open
I then included the full article with is very long, though a very good read.
David Codrea:
MISCONCEPTIONS...
A lot of them are out there concerning Gunrunner, like finding the Ogden video and the $10M funding are proof Obama ordered guns walked. No--those are only proof that a known project was authorized by the government--not in secret, but with press releases and everything.
GUNRUNNER has been well known. For a long time. See those "Journalist Guide" icons in the left margin of my WarOnGuns blog? Guess where I got the cover art to modify from? And Gunrunner is NOT synonymous with Fast and Furious--that was a component strategy presented as a sting op. that turned out to be something else.
Mike and I are concerned with gunWALKING--where the stated mission was deviated from with the criminal conspiracy we now see unfolding.
Suddenly I am being hit with a wave of tips about the old known stuff like it's being discovered for the first time--for many, I'm sure it is. I don't know if the genesis of that originates from people not knowing the history of this and jumping in to be helpful and spread the word, or if there is intent to sow confusion and misdirection.
Either way, it does not help, and can actually hurt. A lot.

He seems more interested in Murdoch. But it also illustrates that we need more conservative media sources, and the importance of on-line media and not expecting others to carry the truth.
Drudge it too busy putting up beacons for the Murdock-NOTW story-of-the-century...
How about adding Operation Castaway to the list.
1,000 guns walked to Honduras. Wonder if any wound up in the hands of those supporting Mel Zelaya and his commie friends?
Hang that one on the real source, Obozo, and you have a real Watergate/Iran Contra. (Hounduras was an ally during our support of the Contras.)
That could be. I’m of a mind that GunWalker/F&F, as well as this new operation that appears to have been ran out of the Miami office of ATF and aimed at Honduras, are spin-offs of Gunrunner. Just the Gunrunner/GunWalker similarity in names makes me suspicious if nothing else.
Have you heard of this new “Capitalization” stuff?
All the cool kids are doing it. You might look into it.
You would look like less of a moron.
Has Drudge broken anything significant since Monica’s blue dress? Forget him he’s old news. He has a nice collection of news links though.
F&F was done out of the Phoenix ATF office under the umbrella of Gunrunner. They’re not synonymous but they are related. The funding came from the same place.
Gunwalker is not a noun it’s an adjective. Gunwalking is the verb and it’s used to describe allowing guns to “walk” across the border. It’s not the name of any operation.
Gunwalker was a term we on the right coined for Gunrunner, as in, the ATF was letting the guns walk across the border. Don’t know who came up with it first. Just something to irritate the left. There were over 4,000 separate operations under Gunrunner. F&F was just one of these. Hopefully more honest field agents will come forth to expose any other misdeeds. I know the media was attacking a Houston gun dealer that was reporting suspicious activity, apparently on info leaked by ATF. This was part of their plan all along. Without the F&F emails by the whistleblowers, they would have gotten away with. Zero is still going to try to bluff his antigun agenda through with executive orders.
Now is the definitely the time to get Obama on the defensive. Press the Guns to Drug Cartels story and then let him explain to the American people why bombing civilians in Pakistan and Libya is more important then giving senior Americans their retirement savings back.
Of course, Fox fired him.
