There is evidence to refute the claim that President Barack Obama was not born in Hawaii, and therefore is not eligible to be president of the United States, but "birthers" persist with their claims that Obama is in office illegally. Donald Trump is the latest to question the president's birthplace.

As for Obama's roots in Hawaii, Abercrombie told Hawaii News Now he first laid eyes on baby Barack Obama a few days after he was born. Abercrombie said Obama's parents introduced their newborn to friends at the University of Hawaii where Abercrombie was going to college with the president's father.
"We not only saw him and were with them, but were introduced to him of course at our gatherings, our student gatherings. And of course over the years then as he was raised by his mother and his grandparents we of course saw him frequently because he was with his grandfather all the time," Abercrombie added.

He could not have seen the baby MuBarak a few days after being born, nor could he have seen MuBarak with his Mom and Father.
The father was not in Hawaii at that time and a week after the MuBarak was born, he and his mother were in Seattle.

If this unqualified, incompetent, usurper want’s to prove that he is Constitutionally qualified to be President of the United States, he had better hope that that birth certificate does not name Barack Hussein Obama Sr. as the father.
if it does, then Barack Hussein Obama (or whatever is name is) was a subject of the British crown at birth and therefore CANNOT be a Natural Born Citizen of the United States.
The status of a Natural Born Citizen is conferred at the moment of birth - or it is not.
NOTHING occurring later in life can change that status retroactively.
The usurper was not a Natural Born Citizen when he was born and he is not one now. Regardless of where he was born. He could have been born in the White House and it would not have made any difference.

Abercrombie is spouting bullsh*t. He never even met Ann Dunham in 1961. He wouldn’t have known her from Betty Crocker.
He never even knew that Obama Sr. was married or had a kid until years later. YEARS later.
Ann Dunham was gone from Hawaii within days of Obama being born, if she was even there at all. My mid August 1961, she was enrolled (but hadn’t started classes yet) at the University of Washington. She never returned to Hawaii until Obama Sr. had left the State for Massachusetts nearly two years later.
Most of Abercrombie’s “recollections” are either conscious or unconscious fabrications.

The part of the story that reveals the biggest problem is that Stanley (Obama’s mama) didn’t know how to change the diaper. The baby was supposedly a few weeks old. How would she not know to change the diaper by then?? Did she have a nurse do it somewhere?? Or was the baby only a few days old?? The friend described Barry as a “new, pink” baby. That sounds like a brand, spankin’ new, newborn. This continues to beg the question of where the hell was this baby born??
This may be a dumb question or may have already been hashed out, but I wonder if or when Obama was adopted by Mr. Soetoro, the original BC was sent to Indonesia for the adoption process. If so could it be sealed in the hands of the Indonesian government?
I ask because at age 5, I was adopted by my step-father. To this day the birth certificate I have in my hands states my adoptive father was present at the time of my birth. At one time adopted children could not access their original birth certificates. Yes, I know now I could pursue it, but at this stage in my life I’m good with what I have.
I’m pretty sure Hawaii law requires them to keep their own birth certificates and seal them themselves in adoption cases.

I tend to agree with that point, but that is something that would have to be decided by the Supreme Court — and as you may have noticed, they are very reluctant to touch that issue.
