Today the FCC voted to regulate the internet, but that’s only part of the story. Behind the scenes, President Obama has been working with the international community, not Congress, to institute government control of the internet.
Under the banner of cyber security, Melissa Hathaway, Obama’s former White House official, urged that the power of three regulatory agencies (SEC, FCC and FTC) be harnessed to bring about a “comprehensive solution set.”
The plan to take control of the internet was devised through the Atlantic Council’s Program on International Security. That’s right… the Obama administration has been working closely with other countries to develop strategies to usurp the U.S. Congress in order to execute plans which further his progressive agenda.
Melissa Hathaway forthrightly acknowledged that the results of the November mid-term elections created “greater Congressional constraints.” A PDF of her report is found HERE.
Unlike any President in the history of our nation, Obama brought charges of human rights abuses in the U.S. to the UN, he presided over the UN and his DOJ is actively suing one of our states (Arizona) for trying to protect American citizens. Obama has taken control of our healthcare, banks, car companies, energy, food supply, student loans and now the internet. Our national defense rests in the hands of Obama’s collaboration with Russia (New START Treaty) who is aligned with Iran, Venezuela, China and North Korea.
It’s time we ask ourselves who Obama works for – does he work for Americans who elected him to represent our best interest, or does he work for leaders of foreign countries?
The answer is becoming more obvious by the day.

This is the 2nd time the FCC has tried this. Google will find you the April 2010 Appeals court verdict in Comcast vs FCC where this was thrown out, saying the FCC lacks the authority to do what they voted to do today.
So this seems like a ploy to force this issue into court, where the Obama Regime evidently thinks it’s chances are better. They know now they will never get the House to pass a bill giving FCC this kind of power.
I don’t think the timing is coincidental - they lose in April, but don’t take this step until December? I say only after the Nov. election ruled out the legislative option did they decide to go for the judicial one.

FCC chairman Genachowski has been working this ever since he took office. They’ve been going back and forth with ISP, Cable companies and the Marxists.
The Marxist want total government control of ALL telecommunications, and they’ve wanted that ever since radio was invented.
I think it’s a Hail Mary.
IMHO, regardless of what the courts and congress do, technology is going to outpace any attempt at control or regulation.

Thank you for that link - very interesting indeed. I’ve shared it with an attorney and state legislator friend who may have some insight on this.
While she comes from the polar opposite in terms of philosophy and agenda, she makes my point in the 3rd paragraph...they’re turning to the administrative agencies to accomplish what is now denied them in the legislative arena, thanks to the hard work of many on our side to take control of the House.
Here’s the biggest canard in the whole report:
“It is a bold step to turn to independent regulatory bodies”
First it is not bold, it is cowardly. Secondly, there is nothing “independent” about these agencies!
It is clear that he is working with the enemies of this country. With the House shortly to be under Republican control, I’d expect some rather explosive revelations to come out of the Judiciary Cmte.,and possibly Articles of Impeachment. Certainly his ties with foreigners and Communists needs to be put under the microscope.
