Dems Say Citizenship for Illegals Essential
A Semi-News/Semi-Satire from AzConservative ^ | 14 August 2010 | John Semmens

Posted on 08/15/2010 3:43:31 PM PDT by John Semmens

Republicans raising the issue of possibly denying automatic US citizenship for children born to persons illegally in the country struck a nerve in the Obama Administration.

Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Nipplitaliano called the idea “just wrong.” “America has always been the land of opportunity,” Nipplitaliano said. “That’s why people come here. If we cut off their path to citizenship it’s like saying we don’t welcome them and they’ll stop coming.”

Press Secretary Robert Gibbs called efforts to deter illegal immigration “the wrong approach.” “We need to be expediting the legalization of those already here, not penalizing them for their initiative in getting here.”

Both Nipplitaliano and Gibbs criticized Republicans for “rejecting the leadership shown by President Obama.” “With a little cooperation from just a few Republicans we could have 10 million new naturalized voters on the rolls by the next presidential election year,” Gibbs pointed out. “Yet, rather than participating in such a landmark accomplishment the GOP wants to close the door of opportunity.”

In related news, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev) admitted his puzzlement over the fact that not every Hispanic-American is a Democrat. “I mean, we’re the ones who put them on the gravy train,” Reid bragged. “The benefits they’re getting from the government—welfare, unemployment, healthcare—were all our ideas. Democrats are the champions of the lower classes. Why wouldn’t they all vote for us?”

I have gotten into the habit now of checking the source of articles before I read them. It is becoming increasingly difficult to separate satire from the absurd actions and words of this administration.

Dems count on the ignorance of their supporters to carry their political arguments. There already exists a mechanism for a foreign person to become a citizen ... what the illegal aliens are doing is bypassing that process and coming here anyway.

As far as I am concerned, the only way I am going to accept some form of amnesty for those who came here illegally is that the ones without criminal records will be able to pay a fine, and pay taxes, but NEVER given the right to vote.

To allow these people to vote will be to reward the liberals of both Parties who let this catastrophe happen in the first place by not enforcing the border, and by dragging their heels when the public demanded a fence. This includes Bush 43, IMO.

The Dems act like all these illegals are just “undocumented” voters-in-waiting. This is almost treason. It is cultural and economic destruction by dilution.

This 1 really made me step back when it kept spelling “Nipplitaliano”, totally bogus and trying to be cute (what does that mean anyway - Japanese Italian?). So I thought maybe it was just someone’s blog satire.

Indigent Mexicans, those closest to the Aztec Indians, have come to America to work for more than a hundred years, and mostly without incident except those well-publicized during the Eisenhauer years and others.

These indigents have generally never wanted US citizenship.

In years past they were allowed to work as migrant workers for cash and then return to their regions of Mexico where they could live like Kings; buy land, grow food, build homes and have a family. It made sense to earn dollars in the US and live in a ranch house, save all the money and go back where the money went as far as gold. Simple economics.

Today the bulk of illegals are told of the patterns of the past but are influenced greatly by American politics and its government manifestations. The reason there is so much violence now on the borders is because the Medellin Cartel was driven out of Columbia with US help and settled in the northern states of Mexico where they have a near free hand to control commerce and run narcotics.

Today also is characterized by a American socialist policy that has grown up over the years to coddle illegals with entitlements as they are purposed for:

1. Votes
2. Taxes
3. To fill a gap in US population caused by high taxation and abortion.

The other element of today that disrupts the natural economic benefits of a win-win migrant labor force is the presence of Marxists who actively push for political control of large hispanic populations for the purpose of securing political power.

The problem today is not Mexicans.

It is a government problem.

Americans would love Mexicans without all the government hidden agenda and interference.

Mexicans are almost all hard-working, God-fearing, friendly and family oriented. Americans have always admired and respected these characteristics in any culture.

But those characteristics have been pushed aside in favor of using and bribing this demographic for political purposes.

This is not a Mexican problem, it is a government problem.

This stuff is so fun to read and laugh at. The sad part is that the satire is just saying what these politicians really are masking.

A very simplistic view that could be made into a video to kind of show what is going on.

The basics:

Your standing in line at the store behind 5-10 other people waiting to pay for your whatevers. Someone walks right by you and is allowed to go to the front of the line to pay for their whatevers.

This probably pisses you and everyone else that has been waiting in line off. But it gets worse.

The line jumper gets to the checkout and instead of paying for their whatevers, they get them free.

That is crappy all the way around, but it gets even worse. You are pissed because your in a long line, pissed that someone jumped in front of everyone, very pissed that they didn’t even have to pay anything to get what they wanted, now the person at the register says the register is closing and you will have to get in another(longer) line or come back tomorrow!

That scenario might have pissed you off. Think of what it must be like to someone who has waited potentially years to get a green card to come to America. Once here they have to wait 2 years to become a citizen and this is if things work smoothly and they don’t. Not even mentioning the costs involved and the time it takes to get this crazy(but proper) amount of paperwork done.

This issue needs to be explained in painful but simple terms so our population which(or whom, see I don’t even know what to put there) averages probably less than a 9th grade reading ability(current) or less than a 5th grade reading ability(50 years ago) can grasp the concept.

Any thoughts? Anyone know if I should have put Whom or Whose?
