Obama Upset Over WikiLeaks; No Outrage When The MSM Received Pulitzers For Leaks During Bush

Charles Krauthammer makes a great point below regarding the leaks from WikiLeaks. During the Bush years Reporters were given Pulitzers for leaking the classified information. Now that Obama is the President it's a bad thing.

You also see Colby King from the Washington Post taking a position that you know was completely different during Bush....the classified information doesn't belong to the leaker so they should give it back. Puhlease.

It was just last week that Gibbs said during a White House Presser that leaks such as the recent one shouldn't happen, people should register their disapproval with policy in a lawful way.

QUESTION: The head of Wikileaks tells us that he -- he won't identify the source of the material. He actually says we still don't know who the source is. But if it was Private First Class Manning, who is already in custody, the head of Wikileaks says, "He's a hero." What does the president say to Wikileaks and those who believe that they are doing the right thing...

A note for Science Fiction fans -- I just re-read John Brunner's novel "Shockwave Rider" (1975). It's considered a proto-cyberpunk novel, for those who may not have heard of it. At the climax of the story, all of the government secrets are unveiled by a computer hacker. Corruption, bribes, falsified data, dirty deals, all of it. The whole rotten system of the world comes down, and people begin rebuilding a world based on personal freedom.

Anyway, it got me thinking about the Global Warming leak, and the Wikileaks, and maybe some other news. I won't don my tinfoil hat and say that there is a conspiracy to unveil the truth behind The System, but I thought it was odd. I think the truth has been hidden from us, and for better or worse, I think a lot of that truth is starting to come out.

Distraction. Redirection. Diversion. IF the WH (Obama) is “upset” with the release by Wiki of the 90,000 items on the internet, then why didn’t the bastard do something about it when given the opportunity to do so for multiple weeks prior to their release?

It’s been posted multiple times about how Wikileaks sent the “leak” in its entirety to the WH for them to redact at will, but they did NOT respond prior to the whole Enchilada being served up with Arugula on the internet.

Let’s NOT forget the fact as these A-holes are trying to rewrite history, and cover their rearmost extremities.

Didn’t he ask them “pretty please” to stop. I give anything to have Andrew Jackson back in town for just 2 years.
