Why is president Barry Hussein Soetoro so obsessed with so-called Birthers? The term Birther is a pejorative that Soetoro and his sycophants hurl that anyone who noticed that the president has spent over one million dollars to keep certain aspects of his personal and political background secret. Records hidden by the president included but are not limited to his:
kindergarten records, Punahou school records, Occidental College records, Columbia University records, Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles, scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, passport, medical records, his files from his years as an Illinois state senator, his Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records, and his adoption records.

Agree - pressure is definitely getting to him. It has to be pretty difficult to lie every single day... he probably does not even know what the truth is.

Back in the dark ages around 1957-58, my high school debate team understood more about logical argument than our much vaunted great orator of the teleprompter.

A fundamental principle of arguing your point effectively is to conflate or link a position you are seeking to defend with one you know to be already “true” in the listener’s mind.
For example “my argument is as american as apple pie” logically might give your argument a ring of truth.
The statement “my argument is as american as Quiche Lorraine” gives your argument the ring of untruth.
It is astounding that Obama actually linked the birth certificate charges, which the majority - including most tea party folks either don’t believe or don’t believe to be a winning position - to the socialism charge, which is empirically proven by virtually every single action Obama has taken or is expected to take in the future.
If you tell two things together, one of which is an obvious lie, the listener is logically skeptical of both.
No wonder his international diplomacy is as doomed to failure as his attempts to sell his agenda to americans!

from the amount of confusion shown on this site about the basic premises involved, I'd say it was money well spent! Nothing much more is known today than was known in 2004, when he was running against Alan Keyes!
(1) He is not a "Natural Born Citizen."
(2)We don't have real proof that he is "Native Born."
(3) We Have no records from his past lives.
Folks, that was 6 years ago. In the meantime, he campaigned all over Kenya for a marxist jihadist who massacred thousands of Christians, displaced hundreds of thousands more, and campaigned himself into the White House wit a hefty-enough majority of the popular vote. He received the the votes of the Electoral College, was certified by them, and sworn in by the Chief Justice of the Unites States' Supreme Court.
Ineligible? Sure is. De facto President of the United States? Sure is. Constitutional crisis? Sure is.

Obama WANTS the birther issue to stay in the media because it helps him with his political base in a number of ways.
(1) He gets to play the victim and liberals love victims.
(2) He gets to demonize the paleo-conservative movement and intimate that his opposition is racist without ever saying the word.
(3) There is a strong Democratic constituency (67% voted for Obama) who also get accused of not being “real” Americans: Latinos and Obama needs every Latino vote he can get.
(4) As a former constitutional law professor, he loves winning adjudications. Thus far there have been 74 local, state and federal lawsuits concerning Obama’s eligibility and the scorecard is Obama: 64/Plaintiffs: 0. Any lawyer loves getting lawsuits thrown out for lack of standing, getting lawsuits dismissed and winning appeals. Even the US Supreme Court with a 5-4 conservative majority has refused to take on any of the seven Obama eligibility lawsuits that have reached Justices’ conferences for Writs of Certiorari.
It should be obvious to why Obama is obsessed with the issue.
I guess you missed the part where he has been obsessed with HCR for over a year, and how, despite the overwhelming objections of the American people, got it passed...and he's working on Immigration...and Cap and Trade...running Government Motors...Finance reform...scolding Israel for a remodeling project...while a handful of birthers await the latest legal vomit from the constitutional lawyer du jour...

Sure, Dr. Orly makes mistakes. We all do. But Dr. Orly is no dummy. How many of us could go to a foreign country, learn 5 languages, establish a successful dental practice, a successful real estate business AND pass the California state bar- one of the hardest in the U.S. to pass?
She may be a ‘mail order’ attorney and not a Harvard lawyer, but she IS an attorney with all the rights and privilages of a Harvard lawyer nevertheless!
