Stupid poll has Cheney stealing Sarah’s votes when there’s no way he is running.

It concerns me that Mitt Romney is still so high up in many polls for ‘12 GOP POTUS. “RomneyCare”, which is socialized medicine in Massachusetts, was created partly by Mitt, and it’s still full of problems today. “RomneyCare” really will destroy Mitt’s chances for victory, unless it’s successfully ended by the Governor of Massachusetts.

I think Cheney gets fewer votes because everyone realizes he has no intention of running.

1st choice would be Gov. Palin...

2nd choice would be Vice Pres. Cheney...

I would vote for both for the exact same reason!

It would piss off the Lame Stream Media the liberals and the RINOs if either one of them won!

The schadenfreude would be delicious and it would be a four year feast!

How on earth does MR poll so high?

Better question: How on earth does NG poll so high?

Poor Wonderbread Pawlenty. Nice guy. No chance.

Huckabee, Romney and Gingrich will never get my vote.

DeMint, Thune, and Pence would be interesting.

I wonder how many votes none-of-the-above would have gotten.

You know polls>

70% says in one poll Palin doesn't have enough experience to be President.

That same poll says that 60% want Government Health Care!!

“I would imagine because he knows how to run a business, make a payroll which most politicians that are in there under Obama has never done including Zero himself.”

The poll was between Republican hopefuls, so Zer0’s dismal qualifications are irrelevant IMHO. That being said, I have no idea why MR scored high. Yeah, he is successful businessman, but he is also architect of RommeyCare, a total disaster in both economic and quality aspects..

Don't rule out everything. He is a good looking man and mature looking , he talks well and is somewhat charismatic. Voters overlook a lot of things for those qualities. He is not who I would want in there but better than a lot of others like the Huck and Newt. As far as I am concerned Palin is the best we have that look like they are running. I like Pence and Hunter but are they running?

“is somewhat charismatic.”

?! What?! He is about as uncharismatic as they get, at least IMHO. These online polls are frequented by people who have large paid staffs. Pain is getting 32% with no effort at all. Romney probably has a wing of his operation trying to drive his numbers up.

Fortunately, in spite of the likes of Karl Rove (who I saw trying to prop Mitt up vis a vis Palin on Hannity’s show the other night), Romney has ZERO chance of being nominated. He is a poor vote getter and Romney Care has cooked his goose definitively. Even if he were a good candidate (and, as I said, he is not even decent)and if he were conservative, Palin’s skills and charisma are so far above anyone on the stage that she would flatten him.

BTW, has anyone else gotten sick of hearing Hannity refer to Rove as “The Architect”? The Architect of what? Bushg’s two weak-kneed terms, with domestic liberalism and two wars unwon, that led to Obama, just like his father’s mushy Republicanism led to Clinton.

If you want to refer to someone as “the Architect”, how about Lynn Nofziger (Reagan’s political director) or even Ed Meese, both of whom helped to superintend 44 and 49 state landslides and a third term for Reagan (which unfortunately was served by Bush 41) That is the kind of Architecture I like (and the kind I expect to see from the American edition of the “Iron Lady”, Sarah Palin, in 2012.)

for me, Romney had a good TV persona, I think he really enjoys the rough and tumble of politics (important), but at the end of the day he is at best a hired gun, meaning he will change sides when he wants to or a flip-flopper (brilliant insight, I know). Romneycare, after what the country has been through leaves a distinctly bad impression so while sure I will vote for him if he is the nominee, at this point, I like him less than in 2008

I’ve talked to more than one or two women who would take you to task on Romney’s looks and personality. Like you say, “in your humble opinion”, is quite different in many many others.

“I’ve talked to more than one or two women who would take you to task on Romney’s looks and personality.”

No doubt. Chacun a son gout, as the French say. I will tell you this. I don’t think he has the rugged good looks or winning personality of a Reagan or a Jack Kennedy, not by a long shot. He strikes me as being a kind of Eastern preppie who has probably never been in a fight in his life. I could be wrong, but I doubt if most women would find his beta male wimpishmess (and fear of offending anyone or taking a position) very appealing, but who knows? Maybe they like that kind of man at Radcliffe. But they don’t vote for him if he has an R by his name.

I will tell you one thing that I am not wrong about. Romney’s looks and personality (such as they are) pale in comparison to those of Sarah Palin. She is a far more commanding presence than he could ever be.

“Like you say, “in your humble opinion”, is quite different in many many others.”

Many, many others?....maybe. Enough to defeat Sarah Palin? Not enough....not nearly enough...not even close.
