Ironically, if Truman had insisted US troops stay in S. Korea in 1949, there probably would not have been a North Korean invasion in 1950, and, thus, no Korean War.

DU pansies - they can dish it out, but can’t take it. They need to suck it in and accept that the count is on their watch now and has been since democrats took over. Someone needs to inform them Bush is no longer the president (are they still going to be whining for the next three years about Bush? If so, they’re beyond pansies and full-on delusional).

Sad subject but an amusing response. I’m not quite as willing to let Obama off the hook as the author is though.
Not only does he own the war now in the sense that Nixon owned Vietnam but he participated in the war prior to being elected by campaigning on a withdrawl. Promising to end the war at any cost certainly prolonged it by offering our enemies a victory by waiting us out.
It’s Obama’s war today as surely as it was Bush’s in 2006.
