All look pretty good. I would hope the stench of the global warming debate will finally be flushed down the Potomac as well.

Curious............

Since you use FreeRepublic as a place to pimp your blog site how come you can’t at least place a link on your site back to FR for people visiting your site to connect back here? If it’s good enough to pimp your blog rants on then it ought to be worthy of a link back.

Have a good one and a Happy New Year...........

I predict that Michigan will get a new Governor and Jennifer Granholm will leave office after 8 years and continue to blame the former Governor for destroying the state.

1) Many retail outlets and other businesses start liquidating and shutting down due to the bad economy and the democrats' health care tax increases, unemployment starts rising again, and the stock market takes another big dip.

2) At least three more house democrats defect to the republican party, and the republicans shock everyone and take back the House in November, leading the "mainstream" press to whine about how angry Americans are.

3) Al Gore and the global warming con artists continue to press their issue at the same time that belief in manmade global warming continues to decline.

4) Robert Byrd passes away, and the governor of West Virginia appoints himself to fill the seat.

5) The New England Patriots and the Green Bay Packers play in a rematch of Super Bowl XXXI, and this time the Patriots win it.

My 2010 Predictions:

1) Summer in Texas will be hot....but cool everywhere else

2) Hollywood buts out more ‘save the planet’ movies like Avatar

3) the democrats will blame Bush (and be echoed by the MSM) for EVERY problem and BARELY hold a majority in Congress
4) unemployment is reported at 11% but will be closer to 25%

5) Palin is attacked even more vicious than the last two years combined

6) Some wack job right wing loon gets caught with explosives in his van and the media howls about how conservative talk radio is fanning the flames of discontent.

7) An increase in violent attacks against the military, churches and law enforcement in the USA by the far left nutjobs while the MSM remains eerily quiet on the events.

8) Pakistan begins a civil war and the nukes disappear totally freaking out the world.

9) Mexico teeters on collapse with the drug lords and military ‘hitting the mats’

10) Syracuse beats Kansas in the NCAA basketball championship.

1. Republicans will win a landslide victory in 2010 elections

2. 0bama’s approval ratings will reach new lows

3. More Iranian military officers will defect and join the opposition in creating an armed resistance that will lead a massive revolt against the regime

4. Or...Israel will bomb Iran

5. We’ll get hit with a large terrorist attack planned from a base in Yemen

6. If the Iranian revolt shows signs of success, we will see the beginnings of anti-regime agitation in Syria

1. Unemployment will go down a bit but settle at about 9.0-9.2%% through the year, remaining there past 2010.

2. The US will be on the receiving end of multiple terrorist strikes on the homeland over the course of the year and many thousands will die. The Obama admin’s response will be weak and incoherent.

3. The GOP will win many seats in the 2010 House races, but fall shy of taking control of the House. Ambitious Republicans will expect a rout, but when the dust settles they will have gained about 25 seats. Nancy Pelosi will lose her leadership over this, but will remain in the House for all long as she likes.

4. The GOP will lose one seat in New Hampshire but win 6 more Senate seats from the Dems, for a net gain of 5. Dems will control the US Senate with 53 seats. The GOP will have 45 seats, and 2 Independents.

5. Obama’s fortunes continue to fall as he and the dems enjoy broad disapproval for strongly backing Amnesty. In the end, any meaningful Amnesty won't succeed in Congress.

6. A major GOP elected official with a strong family values record will be exposed in an adultery scandal, or if he is a male, a gay sex scandal. If the latter, he will have a famous speech where he cries.

7. Some of Obama’s Czars will be forced to resign after embarrassing revelations.

8. Israel won't be attacking Iraq, despite high hopes from people on the sidelines. In fact, Israel will have to deal with matters closer to home which will be difficult for Israel, and diminish the reputation of their military.

9. By the end of 2010, it will be clear who the leader of the GOP will be, going into the protracted GOP primary process in 2011.

10. Iron Man 2 will be the biggest grossing film of 2010.

11. As 2012 approaches, many will look to the skies for evidence of the evil planet Nibiru. They will all fail to find any evidence of Nibiru, as it doesn't exist.

12. Conservative talk radio will see one of its big 10 hosts announce his retirement. The most likely host to call it quits broadcasts from San Francisco.

13. American hikers in Central America will be part of a protracted drama that finds them kidnapped and held for ransom. The administration will stress peaceful negotiations to resolve the matter, and it will end when an ill conceived joint US-US-French rescue mission fails and in retaliation, all the hostages will be killed. In what will become a famous press conference, one of the military brass of either the USA, UK or France will cry.

14. TNA’s bid to start a wrestling war with the WWE will fail miserably, and they may be out of business (or sold) by December 31, 2010.

15. A major of a major US city will die in office. The details will be lurid and involve strange sexual practices.
