More hope and change for America... Two different Ohio blogs posted an email from ACORN on February 21, 2008 announcing that Ohio ACORN is doing a Get Out The Vote project with the OBAMA Campaign.
The email even admitted:
Ohio ACORN is hiring canvassers to go door to door encouraging voters to vote for Barak Obama.
This was back in February during the Democratic primary. Here is the email from Ohio ACORN:
GOTV for Obama! Ohio ACORN is doing a Get Out The Vote project with the OBAMA Campaign. Ohio ACORN is hiring canvassers to go door to door encouraging voters to vote for Barak Obama.
ACORN is hiring in Cleveland (216)431-3905 , Columbus (614)425-9491, Cincinnati (513)221-1737, for Dayton (call Cincinnati), and for Toledo call Cleveland. Or email polnatoh@acorn.org and your inquiry will be routed to the appropriate person in each of these cities. Intake and training will be held daily at local ACORN offices. Canvass begins on Wednesday Feb. 27th and will work through election day. Please, only persons wishing to work all or most of these days (Saturday and Sunday included) should inquire.
Please do not contact the Obama campaign directly regarding this post as they are not the organization doing the hiring and it will only distract their staff and volunteers from the other important work they are doing on behalf of Senator Obama.
Wasn’t Ohio an important win for Obama? And didn’t hilLIARy still pull it off? (prolonging the election)
Shut down and people to jail.
marking for later.

You are hysterical...
I have a serious problem with government workers using their positions to try to get their chosen candidates elected.
Of course, this is a left wing group backing a left wing politician, so nothing will come of it...
Not the first time.
St. Louis ACORN workers, who have still not been paid by the way, reveal that all of the people who were being trained at ACORN headquarters (many at the same time) were told to go out and canvas for “(Democrat) Victory 2006” and Claire McCaskill!

I’d be in the streets in a heartbeat if I had leaders to lead me. “Leaders” such as Bush and his Justice Department. And “leaders” such as McCain leading us in a march toward the capital building instead of saying “He is a decent man.” He’s an fraud from Kenya, John!
So? So is diverting money from the treasury to bail out irresponsible corporations. We have been a lawless society for quite some time now; with things like campaign laws only applying to those espousing a conservative viewpoint. We must face the fact that laws simply don't apply to those with the right political connections.
This really isn't anything new. Evil has always played with a different set of rules (or no rules at all) while Good has been constrained by legality or morality.
Written here in August.

Glad it’s getting out again in October.
polnatoh@acorn.org....this would be the person that needs to get squeezed. Sounds like a smoking gun here, to me.

Good luck.
