I have no idea what “NS” refers to, but you’re correct that I now live in California. I’ve previously lived in Abilene, TX, and Winchester, VA, so I have some personal experience in the Old South.
I’m sorry if my opinions about the region’s history make you uncomfortable, but this is a conservative site and patriotism necessarily includes loyalty to our national government, no matter who the president might be at any given time.

So, what offenses exactly did President Buchanan commit against "States rights, self reliance and the 10th amendment" to justify secession? (Surely you know that secession and the Confederacy happened long before Lincoln became President.)
