There is little doubt that the COVID-19 restrictions in place now have caused major disruptions in our daily life and have had negative economic impacts on California families, especially the working poor. But consider how much worse it would be if we in California hadn’t moved quickly to “flatten the curve.”
An out-of-control pandemic would rage through our state at numbers unimaginable and would have much more severe consequences on the health of Californians, as well as the economy.
Thankfully, California is once again leading the way by taking major measures such as shelter in place, physical distancing, orders to close schools, all done to protect our health and our economy. Contrast the progressive policies being undertaken in the Golden State with the slow responses to the virus in some other states in which their leaders don’t follow the guidance of the experts.

It looks like they tried a lot of different white names before Karen took.
They are doing the same with names for males, Chad, Brad, Steve, here is a vote for the name Darren.

Your take is the image the left has been selling with a few videos of the nutty stuff, and selling at the same time that the public space is becoming uninhabitable for normal people and whites in particular.
1950 America did just fine with a culture of calling the manager over, or calling the police for problems in public, would there have been some negative stuff, sure, there always will be exceptions and gotchas.
As the videos of blacks destroying the public space with violence and insanity, from stores to airports, ship cruises, to restaurants, we suddenly get “Karens” and “Chads”, the complaining white people.
Something you can count on in the coming years is more creative variations of how annoying white people are in their complaints of the changes in America.
The term “Karen” refers to an unnecessarily complaining woman (usually white). I haven’t seen it refer to a decent woman who is rebuking genuinely bad behavvior, although some people may abuse it that way. There was even a haircut referred to as “the Karen” which was one of those short, new-wave, feminist, pseudo-lesbian looking haircuts that no reasonable woman would have.
“Chad” is actually a term of respect. He’s the guy that doesn’t give a damn about your silly feelings and doesn’t tolerate your BS.
“Becky” on the other hand, IS a racist term against white women, usually by blacks against young attractive white women.
Chad, Brad, Steve, whatever they are labeling white males they are trying to make “Karens”.
Suddenly the media rediscovered very white sounding names and are using them to shut-up primarily white women and also white males in public, making them self-conscious and timid, similar to the goals of creating the concepts of “Mansplaining” and “Manspreading”.
It is about making whites fade into the background in public and want to avoid being mocked, there are a lot of new approaches being created to make whites appear as foolish, bumbling, mean, petty, inconsequential and rather bizarre and annoying when compared to the new America of non-whites and the new population replacing them.
