Biden, the Border, and Tik Tok Too

President Biden is in a pickle of his own making, and his efforts to deal with it are as idiotic and destructive as his open borders policy has been.

Last month alone over 300,000 mostly military age men illegally crossed our border, with the Border Patrol tasked to easing their invasion and even making them sandwiches rather than detaining and deporting them. Texas governor Greg Abbott directed his National Guard to obstruct their passage by placing floats in the river at the border and installing barbed wire topped fences at Shelby Park in Eagle Pass, Texas. He also spread the misery the border states were feeling by transporting many of the illegal crossers to cities that had virtue signaled they were “sanctuary cities,” cities that would not turn over illegals to ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) for detention and deportation. Now, those same cities -- which apparently thought El Paso was better able to handle housing and feeding and providing medical care for millions of largely needy military-aged men than they were -- are begging for help and federal money as they are overwhelmed by the task they dreamed would be shouldered by the border states.

Polls show that the majority of citizens are strongly opposed to this invasion. Former FBI officials have warned that this influx of unvetted invaders from around the world who have been allowed to travel freely around the country pose a serious national security threat. Still, the President, who blocked further construction of the wall Trump was constructing and ended the Trump policy of making asylum seekers stay in Mexico as their claims were processed, doubled down on allowing unlimited free passage into the United Sates. He demanded that Abbott tear down the border barriers. A federal court enjoined the Administration from removing the barriers

The sanctuary city advocates should be housing and feeding the illegal immigrants and they should be held jointly responsible for any crime that the illegal commits.

I haven't seen any news about any Lefties in "sanctuary" cities taking any "refugees" into their homes. I would think they would be proud to do so, and trumpet that to the world.

Either that or fake it, pretending to take in "refugees" for a quick photo op, and then kicking them to the curb after the media leave...

Elon Musk isn’t buying all of Biden’s posturing and gaslighting on the migrant invasion.

Musk joins Trump in dissing Biden’s inane border mouthings.

Musk posted on X: “All that is needed is a presidential executive order to require proof before granting an asylum hearing. That is how it used to be.”

As elementary as that ....... you’d think even a dolt like Biden would understand it.

Musk was responding to a typically offensive missive from Biden where he demanded Congress pass a bill giving him more tax dollars to ease migrants invasion into our communities

Power-mad Biden also wants the ability to close the border whenever he feels like it.

They thought the political points made with “sanctuary city” had no negative possibilities and when the chickens come home to roost they run to their safe space and beg DC for help
