Julia Roberts has been in over 50 movies during her decades-long career in Hollywood — yet she hasn’t done a gone au naturale in any of them.
During her new cover story with British Vogue, published Thursday, the iconic actress, 56, revealed that she has purposely avoided taking any racy roles in order to have a “G-rated career.” When asked if she has “any feelings of responsibility to other women” when choosing scripts, the “Pretty Woman” star told interviewer Richard Curtis that it’s more about what she “chooses not to do.”
“You know, not to be criticizing others’ choices, but for me to not take off my clothes in a movie or be vulnerable in physical ways is a choice that I guess I make for myself,” she explained. “But in effect, I’m choosing not to do something as opposed to choosing to do something.” The actress also revealed that she may have inherited her firm stance on feminism from distant cousin Gloria Steinem.

One can argue about her acting talent all day.
However I do respect that she chooses to want her acting (an ability few have) talk for her than a nude body (which is a dime a dozen in show biz)

Julia Roberts strikes me as OK as far as Hollywood types go. And she’s already made up her mind.
Please don’t tell anyone, but one perverse habit I have, when I’m forced to watch Hallmark with my wife, is to check and see if the star has done any nude shots. And Autumn Reaser, Emily Kinney, and fo sho Kristy Swanson…well hoowee. To their credit, a lot of them didn’t cheapen themselves.

Indeed. And she has a LONG list of credits, most of them worth 7 or 8 figures ...
People here are bashing her looks (without revealing their own) ... which actually makes an even stronger case that her choice to work “clean” was correct professionally as well as morally.

It’s a choice she made because she had a big hit movie without it. Otherwise she’d have been stripping like the rest of the sluts.
I have never cared for her much as an actor, but I respect her moral choices.
Oddly, “Pretty Woman” was her least lucrative feature film role ... and for all of it being about a whore, she still played it clean.
