I have never cared for her much as an actor, but I respect her moral choices.

It’s a choice she made because she had a big hit movie without it. Otherwise she’d have been stripping like the rest of the sluts.

I'm sure she was stripping like the rest of them, not as sluts, but as giving up their souls for fame and fortune. Fair enough for her to be a "G"-rated actress, but that doesn't say anything about what she had to do to be one behind the scenes.

It is great that Julia Roberts has chosen to be modest.

This does seem to contradict the last sentence of the article excerpt, which states that she inherited her views on feminism from Gloria Steinem.

These days, a lot of feminists show absolutely no respect for their bodies and no modesty. Some even take pride in calling themselves a word that means a woman who sleeps around indiscriminately. I would think that a modest woman could not be a feminist.
