Will he choose who would be best for the country, or will it be someone who appeals to a special demographic group? The latter would be misguided. Women do not necessarily vote for women, for example.
As much as I like the outsiders (Lake, Ramaswamy) I think someone who knows the swamp dwellers from a different vantage point would be good.

Can not figure out if Vivek Ramaswamy’s name works for or against him. Maybe he should run for Congress first.
I strongly respect that she has put patriotism ahead of her party, but I do not want to elect a liberal to be Vice President, especially given the fact that Trump is sooooooo old. Yes, he’s no Biden, but he is WAY older than say, Reagan.
And after it’s over most of the Republicans in Congre$$ will be rubbing their hands together saying: Just wait until 2026 and you will see a red tidal wave in the US Socialist States of America taking our Republic back.
I just think this time Trump wants another CEO type as his running mate instead of a career politician.
Expect to be disappointed. It’s going to be Nikki Haley.

IF the RNC allows him to win the nomination
THEN the RNC will choose his running mate (as is ALWAYS the case)
Of course, IMO the possibility of meeting the first two criteria are slim to none.
I doubt Trump needs the RNC to make a terrible VP choice. He seems very capable of that by himself based on ample past experience.

Hopefully a natural born citizen. Trump’s mother was born in Scotland, so he may not be eligible to be President and we need someone on the ticket who is.
