It has been proven that carbon dating doesn’t work very well, what do you expect when idiots memorize books written by other idiots and then think that they are experts.

Oh, no, misplaced modifiers deserve flaying, if not flogging. No excuses.

Unless, of course, you discovered chromosomes 18,000 years ago.

The editor who wrote this headline needs to be flayed alive

So true. It leads one to think that chromosomes were discovered 18,000 years ago, causing the settlement of South America.

Chromosomes are nothing more than white heteropatriarchy supremacy keeping trans and BIPOC people down. I heard it from colleges...

Sooo...

Ancient humans had to discover chromosomes before they could “gentrify” South America?

Yep, I remember when a mastadon tusk was found in Lake Grapevine, West of DFW Airport.

Heck when they were digging tank holes at dfw, they found remains of several creatures. Not that old at all.

We need something to terrify future editors. His tanned hide with this headline burned on it might serve that purpose.

Misplaced modifiers deserve flaying if 1) the writer is supposed to a pro 2) he screwed up this egregiously and 3) it got published.

Here's the sorted list of four Preclovis related keywords, duplicates out, and edited a little. I just realized I forgot to include the Anna Roosevelt keyword.
