Trump Considers Starting A Social Media Site; Twitter, Facebook Weigh Allowing Trump Back
Former U.S. President Donald Trump is reportedly mulling the possibility of starting his own social media platform as Twitter (NYSE: TWTR) and Facebook (NASDAQ: FB) consider whether to allow Trump to return to their platforms.
What Happened: Twitter permanently banned Trump from its site while Facebook issued an indefinite suspension from the Facebook and Instagram platforms after the Jan. 6 riot on Capitol Hill, making him the first world leader to be barred from social media.
Trump senior advisor Jason Miller told Fox News that Trump is reviewing proposals to launch a social media endeavor of his own.

He won't go back.
He lives in their minds and memories, and represents a threat to their business model, just a he lives in Nazi's mind as the source of TDS.
They edited him out and gave into to the "cancel culture".
They used up all their social influence, and Trump waked away with his 35 million and 10 million followers,
not to mention the 80 million voters who supported his election.
Now a Trump social media represents a threat to their advertising revenue and place in framing the social and political narrative.
In the vernacular of a young teenager :" They shot their wad", and it's time to move along !

Excellent idea about Trump charging a small fee to keep trolls and assholes out. If there were ‘paying disrupters’ they would be swiftly identified. We’d have them jumping all over the place trying to assume other identities. 80 million Americans are chomping at the bit to see Trump vindicated, I’m sure those interested could all scrape up 5 or 10 bucks to feel a part of something great like this endeavor. Kind of like the way you feel when you help in a freepathon.

Trump is acutely aware of the realm he’s entering. He’s huge on the platforms that removed him.
He knows it, and they damn well know it.
Whatever Trump does, it should be moderated. Free speech does not mean one must accept and promote verbal cesspools. FR is a perfect example.
