I have lived in Ventura County for 21 years & I have never seen so many “Jamal’s” walking around like I see now. I feel like I’m back in Long Beach or Compton.....it’s sad. Ventura is such a beautiful seaside town to now be infected with filthy, seedy trash like we have now!!!!!

I grew up in Long Beach in the 50s. Wonderful place. Rode my bike everywhere, took the PE (the Red Car) up to LA by myself. Are you saying Long Beach has changed? (typing from South East Missouri).

Former First Lady Barbara Bush described Compton as "lovely" when she lived there--on the corner of Santa Fe and Myrrh. A few years before the Bushes moved there, my aunt grew up about three blocks away.
