The headline speaks for itself. No Government Service(Shutdown), No DACA, No Border Wall, No Military Funding, No Child Medical Support, No Immigration Reform, etc. That Jane & Jim America is the Democrat Party political agenda. More like Democrat Party self-inflicted political destruction.

I don’t understand how Military is “non essential” but Obama can hire guards to stop people from going to open air monuments. Does not make any sense.
Republicans ought to be reminded that the last time the government had a Fake Shut-Down, they gained in the next election. They will know who to blame for this one, too. Voters are not as stupid, or forgetful, as the media thinks they are.
How can the Dims shut down the government, unless they have Republican support?

It's kinda like their talk about impeachment. They are delusional.
Trump should try to pay the military as has been done in the past, during all those other shutdowns the Democrats caused and managed to blame on Republicans: force the Democrats be on record as wanting to choose illegal aliens over our soldiers should they balk.
Then not only get rid of DACA but get rid of it with gusto.

The Democrats have made it crystal clear to me what matters most to them. Illegals over Americans. Amnesty is the whole ballgame for them. Without millions of new voters their party will go down the tubes. The president has them in a fix!

Someone on one of the threads here in the last week or so said the Executive Order that DJT signed declaring Human trafficking a threat to “National Security” would prevent the Military from being included in the shutdown.
No budget, no government. And the minority party can block the budget in the Senate through filibuster.
The House will pass a (unconstitutional) "Continuing Resolution," and send it to the Senate. There, 60 votes are required to force closure and allow an up or down vote on the House Bill. To get to 60 the Republicans need a bunch of Democrats to vote with the Republican majority.

Our post-Obama government is like a company with 100's of GOP in upper management, and 10's of thousands of Obama-hired-party faithful Democrats filling the middle management and down positions. Several hundred of which could be Antifa participants. What could possibly go wrong?
Keep the checks to SSI recipients rolling and the military paid. Don’t fund anything else. DJT can probably pay the WH staff out of his own pocket longer than the congresscritters can fund their folks. The rest of it won’t be missed. I think that would be a valuable lesson for the nation.
The uniparty does NOT shut down Fedzilla. Most of it is deemed essential and KEEPS running.
The only bits that get shut down are the bits most likely to annoy/scare the public, like national parks being closed.
Takers still get their checks, public safety is still seen to, and debt service payments are still made.
Trump dang well oughta call the uniparty’s bluff and show the nation just how well it can function after a so-called shutdown.
