The very WORST design fails (and you'll wonder how they made it through quality control)

At first glance, the compass point cushions seen in this photo seem entirely inoffensive.
But look closer, and you'll notice a glaring mistake; the designer has gotten his south and east muddled up.
And the fact they made it to the shop floor suggests the quality control department at the homeware store responsible leaves a lot to be desired.

Back in the early 90s, I bought a new Frame filter that had no threads cut.

The com;pass pillows have to be made in China, same place they make all the clocks with the non-existent Roman numeral IIII because they do not know IV exists.LOL! We have one of those in our kitchen!

Those remind me of an ad for a computer at walmart.com a few years ago.
At one place in the ad: Not available online.
At another place in the ad: Not sold in stores.

You miss the role of QC. They check that it is built to print, not that the print is correct.

You should have gotten a Fram filter. Those Frames are made in Zimbabwe

I once bought a pair of prescription sunglasses. Polarized.
When I tried them on in the store I could see fine, but somebody's leather jacket had a weird glare on it.
I didn't think much of it, until that weekend when I had the sunglasses on again, and stopped behind a car at a light, the glare off the car was shimmering.
At that point, I kind of guessed that the polarization was off.
Sure enough, I held up a pair of standard polarized sunglasses to look through, and one of my lenses was ground with on the vertical polarized axis (compared to the usual horizontal).

I think IIII is viable but not used commonly.

Oh sure. I doubt my teacher back in grade school would not approve.

Dang it. Incomplete edit leading to the double negative.

Maybe. Not long ago staying at a hotel in Maryland the roll placement was not around a wall corner like the pic, but far enough to be ridiculous.
The obvious and only solution was to gather up a good six foot of paper and extend it over to the stool location by hanging it on the handle. The maid had no patience or part in it, but I'm pretty sure she didn't understand english.
