Netanyahu's son is exactly right about the rise of Antifa and BLM

Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu’s son, Yair Netanyahu, is facing backlash from the Left after criticizing both “neo-Nazi scum” and “the thugs of Antifa and BLM” in a Facebook post commenting on the violence in Charlottesville, Va.

Early Wednesday, Yair said that the growing presence of hard-left radicals on American university campuses posed a more long-term danger than the resurgence of neo-Nazi, Alt-“Right” racists.

“To put things in perspective. I’m a Jew, I’m an Israeli, the neo nazi scums in Virginia hate me and my country. But they belong to the past. Their breed is dying out,” he wrote.

“However the thugs of Antifa and BLM who hate my country (and America too in my view) just as much are getting stronger and stronger and becoming super dominant in American universities and public life.”

Yair Netanyahu is exactly right about the growing presence of the hard Left on college campuses. American University professors are proposing to create a “Campus Antifascist Network,” or CAN, to counter what the Left believes is a marked increase in fascist activity since the election of President Donald Trump.

This week, Rosie O'Donnell tweeted that anyone who supports Trump is a NAZI. I know it's Rosie but it still illustrates what you alluded to here, gradually defining "fascist" as everyone that opposes the left. It matters because the left feels perfectly justified in denying civil rights to so called "NAZIs". And by "denying civil rights", I basically mean "murdering". And that may seem extreme but the left is extreme and we have driven them to desperation over the past 8 years. If we manage to take more power from them in 2018 and /or 2020, there's no telling how crazy they will get. At the same time, if they manage to claw back some power, there's no telling how crazy they will get.

The Anti Defamation League says there are only about 3000 KKK members, and there is no centralized leadership

https://www.adl.org/news/press-releases/adl-report-kkk-declining-in-stature-and-significance

They are a trivial vestige, with no mainstream support, and they are propped up by the Left as a strawman. Without the publicity, they would vanish. As far as I can tell, they do not physically harm anyone and merely protest peacefully.

The Fascist groups on the Left are many and are absurdly violent. They are supported by the mainstream Left and by the Leftist media, who freak out when THEIR fascists are mentioned in any critical way. In the recent news, the media referred to them only as “counter-protesters” protesting KKK, etc., as if they were heroic, despite video evidence that clearly showed otherwise.

Some of the Leftist fascist groups were even invited to the Obama White House. They are mainstream Leftists and are many orders of magnitude more dangerous than the KKK.

I saw a few posts in comments sections prior to the election, in which leftists were eagerly looking forward to the "camps" that they knew Hillary was going to run. Those people who want revenge on anyone who rejects the left and all it stands for don't go away quietly.

Why does the whole world care what goes on in a Virginian college town? Do we comment on every nasty act that happens in Great Britain, Germany or Israel? The world is obsessed with us; and not in a good way.

Absolutely true and not afraid to speak the truth, unlike the cowardly, traitorous castrati in our midst like Rubio, Romney, and many other.

The left is our deadly enemy.

This is good. The Israeli Jewish perspective should help some do gooders realize how wrong the Antifa and BLM group is, how fascist they are, how much hate motivates them as well. To an Israeli Jew, they are as fearful as the dying white supremacists, but moreso since they are growing in popularity.

A segment of Americans feel they MUST support these fascist groups, while 99% of Americans know they should not be supporting white supremacists. Clearly the newer fascist groups are a greater danger to Jews.

Does Yair have dual citizenship like his father does?
I hope so. Maybe he can run for some minor office over here.
The left would go perfectly nutzo!

Obama’s army marches on, the vanguard of socialism.
There is however an increase in socio-fascist activity
on the part of the Black Bloc/Anarchist/BLM goons.

There is a petition to declare antifa a terrorist group. 30 days to get 100k signatures. I think this college network should be included.

I was thinking of how much the previous administration’s support of Islam caused the wars and death and torture and suffering and destruction (so SATANIC) and that is why what America does or does not do has such an effect on the world.

The globalists are sure happy about it, eh?

The hard Left considers everyone on Free Republic to be Fascists. "Punch a Nazi"? Well, we're in the category by their measure, don't forget it. For me, there's a long quote from my FR profile page that applies when discussing Nazis and Communists.

Although our modern socialists' promise of greater freedom is genuine and sincere, in recent years observer after observer has been impressed by the unforeseen consequences of socialism, the extraordinary similarity in many respects of the conditions under "communism" and "fascism." As the writer Peter Drucker expressed it in 1939, "the complete collapse of the belief in the attainability of freedom and equality through Marxism has forced Russia to travel the same road toward a totalitarian society of un-freedom and inequality which Germany has been following. Not that communism and fascism are essentially the same. Fascism is the stage reached after communism has proved an illusion, and it has proved as much an illusion in Russia as in pre-Hitler Germany."

No less significant is the intellectual outlook of the rank and file in the communist and fascist movements in Germany before 1933. The relative ease with which a young communist could be converted into a Nazi or vice versa was well known, best of all to the propagandists of the two parties. The communists and Nazis clashed more frequently with each other than with other parties simply because they competed for the same type of mind and reserved for each other the hatred of the heretic. Their practice showed how closely they are related. To both, the real enemy, the man with whom they had nothing in common, was the liberal of the old type. While to the Nazi the communist and to the communist the Nazi, and to both the socialist, are potential recruits made of the right timber, they both know that there can be no compromise between them and those who really believe in individual freedom.

-- F.A. Hayek, The Road to Serfdom

Of course, a "liberal of the old type" we would now call a conservative, since the collectivist Left has hijacked the word "liberal".
