This is silly. Lithium batteries burn but they do not explode. A gas tank that is relatively low and gets very hot will rupture, which is what was in the youtube.

My Prius is the best car I have ever owned. 175,000 miles, still going strong with nothing but oil changes and minor repairs.
Thank you to all you Prius owners. You have saved so much gas nationwide that I get gas for my 1500 Ram cheaper than I normally would. (Actually with my multiple displacement hemi I cruise the highways gettin 22mpg. That’s phenomenal in a v8 truck )
“Batteries don’t explode...gas tanks explode”. Well if you have a gas tank in the general proximity of the batteries. What difference does it make.

Any car, truck or motorcycle with faulty electronics or an IED can blow up, regardless of it’s fuel. I would be more worried about how old your wiring harness is, and the condition of the plastic insulation used on all the wiring. Anything older than 1990, has brittle plastic cracking in places you can’t see, as well as in places you can, like your dashboard, where the better plastics of it’s day were used.
