Ryan & McConnell fail to move Trump Agenda Forward...Replace them!!!

Posted on 02/21/2017 8:13:34 AM PST by JLAGRAYFOX

It has been just about two months since the Congress has been back in session from January 3rd. Neither Paul Ryan or Mitch McConnell have been profiles in courage in working to advance the "Trump" congressional agenda or, getting "Trump" nominees approved by the Senate. The POTUS election took place on November,8, 2016, some four months ago!!!

Neither of these two gents have held their caucuses in non-stop sessions, like working through weekends and cancelling, recesses, or working them 12 hours per day, including weekends, etc. Shame on them!!!! They both have had more then ample time to get things moving rapidly through congress, but....they choose to just crawl along at slow speed, forever!!!

We the people did not elect POTUS, Trump or the Republican majority to just lollygag about, doing nothing!!! Trump is outstanding...but, he needs help and support from these deadbeat leaders!!! Time top broom these two losers into the sewer swamp, where they rightfully belong!!!

They are both consummate “politicians”...The less they do...The longer they drag things out...The less trouble they think they can get into...

It is the “professional politician’s” way to do nothing, but talk, talk, and talk and try to leave the impression that they are working hard...

I doubt that many here were fooled when Paul Ryno and Mitch "0bama's Bitch" smiled and pretended to be friends with Trump.

They're part of the swamp!

I’ve been for replacing them for a long time. But...

What has Trump requested that they haven’t done?

We don’t want those two leading, they will screw things up if they go it alone. Let Trump lead.

Trump’s people have been consented to.

Those two are a problem because of their mouths and their values. But are they really holding things up?

The GOPe is as big of a threat to our nation as the Dems. Those are my thoughts.

If they go with infrastructure first, that is a win for Trump.

They are worthless and seem to be running out the clock until midterms and beyond. Their silence and inaction is telling President Trump, “You are on your own”. I think the GOP is as dead and irrelevant as the DNC. I believe they would be more comfortable with a Clinton regime.

Whether they are closet “whatevers” or simply gutless poseurs, they are creating a situation which could pose incredible danger to the continuity of America.

If the Republican Party were to fracture at this time, permitting the now Leftist Democratic Party & the embedded left-leaning career bureaucrats to renew the march towards the destruction of our heritage, the consequences could be truly terrible to contemplate.

I wasn't aware that Trump has yet submitted any draft legislation to Congress. Nor would I expect him too, with his cabinet and subcabinet not yet in place. The first big test will come when Trump submits his first budget.

The move to repeal and replace Obamacare is underway. But there is a wide gap between campaign statements and actual legislation. Unless the Republicans are ready to nuke the filibuster, this will need to be enacted via reconciliation. The clock is ticking on that, but it is contingent on the budget.

I gotta tell you, I am so ticked off that Ryan & McConnell did not cancel this “President’s Day Recess” this week. I can see & understand taking the three day holiday weekend off...., but, Congress should have been back in session today.

McConnell has been more then kind to the Democrat Scum!! I would have kept them in session until they voted for every single nominee. After they finished their all night sessions...where they just stalled the vote for the nominees, McConnell should have declared keeping the Senate in session, until they voted, yea or nay!!! Then he should have continued in session, moving on to nominee after nominee, never giving the Democrat low life a breather!!! Sadly. Both Ryan & McConnell are both weak sisters, as most of the Republican Establishment is!!

For better or worse, we don’t have a parliamentary democracy—we have a separation of powers. Compared to other systems, the U.S. President has comparatively little power over the other branches of government. Old-fashion arm twisting may be employed—as can threats regarding the mid-terms.

It would be nice to replace Ryan and Turtle—it would be nice to replace at least 95% of congress.

I wish that we could all have good luck all the time. I wish we had wings. I wish that rainwater were beer. But it isn’t . . . . (From A Man for All Seasons)

I’ve always felt that it wasn’t the Democrats in Congress that Trump had to worry about. It was the Republicans.
