The Full Text of General Flynn’s Resignation Letter

February 13, 2017

In the course of my duties as the incoming National Security Advisor, I held numerous phone calls with foreign counterparts, ministers, and ambassadors. These calls were to facilitate a smooth transition and begin to build the necessary relationships between the President, his advisors and foreign leaders. Such calls are standard practice in any transition of this magnitude.

Unfortunately, because of the fast pace of events, I inadvertently briefed the Vice President Elect and others with incomplete information regarding my phone calls with the Russian Ambassador. I have sincerely apologized to the President and the Vice President, and they have accepted my apology.

Throughout my over thirty three years of honorable military service, and my tenure as the National Security Advisor, I have always performed my duties with the utmost of integrity and honesty to those I have served, to include the President of the United States.

I am tendering my resignation, honored to have served our nation and the American people in such a distinguished way.

I am also extremely honored to have served President Trump, who in just three weeks, has reoriented American foreign policy in fundamental ways to restore America’s leadership position in the world.

As I step away once again from serving my nation in this current capacity, I wish to thank President Trump for his personal loyalty, the friendship of those who I worked with throughout the hard fought campaign, the challenging period of transition, and during the early days of his presidency.

I know with the strong leadership of President Donald J. Trump and Vice President Mike Pence and the superb team they are assembling, this team will go down in history as one of the greatest presidencies in U.S. history, and I firmly believe the American people will be well served as they all work together to help Make America Great Again.

Michael T. Flynn, LTG (Ret)

Assistant to the President / National Security Advisor

Donald Trump: 'Putin has eaten Obama's lunch, therefore our lunch, for a long period of time'

Mar 13, 2014
Eun Kyung Kim: TODAY SHOW (NBC)

Donald Trump slammed President Obama Thursday on TODAY for failing to take a stronger line against President Vladimir Putin in dealing with Ukraine, saying he feared Obama would now make up for lost time with imprudent moves to "show his manhood."

The real estate mogul and reality-TV star, who has criticized Putin for sending military troops into Crimea, said Obama must now take fierce steps to prevent the situation from escalating further.

"We should definitely do sanctions and we have to show some strengths. I mean, Putin has eaten Obama's lunch, therefore our lunch, for a long period of time," Trump said. ..."

Trump says NATO is obsolete but still ‘very important to me’

January 16, 2017

LONDON (Reuters) - U.S. President-elect Donald Trump said NATO was obsolete because it had not defended against terror attacks, but that the military alliance was still very important to him, The Times of London reported.

“I took such heat, when I said NATO was obsolete,” Trump told the newspaper in an interview. “It’s obsolete because it wasn’t taking care of terror. I took a lot of heat for two days. And then they started saying Trump is right.”

Trump added that many NATO members were not paying their fair share for U.S. protection.

“A lot of these countries aren’t paying what they’re supposed to be paying, which I think is very unfair to the United States,” Trump said. “With that being said, NATO is very important to me. There’s five countries that are paying what they’re supposed to. Five. It’s not much.”

Exactly!! This action only sets the bar for the new standards of ethics in DC. This shows that the administration is beyond reproach when they go after the real scum.

So Flynn lied about something so trivial as the Logan act. He could not accept responsibility for the smallest of screw ups.

His letter resigning also shifts blame, rather than accepting responsibility.

It was foolish of Trump to accept his resignation: the left and the media (but I repeat myself) will smell blood in the water.

Flynn misled both Trump and Pence. If he hadn't done that, I think Trump would have gone to the mat for him.

We'll see who the replacement is.

So, can someone share with me because it’s not immediately clear. How is it that the transcripts of these conversations are available? Was there someone listening to his conversations? Was there a reason established for Yates to be listening to this phone call? Was there a warrant that the Obama admin obtained to do so?

Or was this an unlawful wire tap?

Someone in Justice has some ‘splainin to do. If I remember correctly, there are laws that preclude wiretap interceptions of conversations that involve U.S. citizens.

They may have been eavesdropping on the Russian ambassador, but once they identified Flynn, if there wasn’t a FISA Court order, the interception may have been illegal.

Sessions has a pretty big swamp to drain in the intelligence agencies.

Just the now known fact that the intelligence community was spying of the Trump campaign is beyond troubling.

The Democrats, along with their allies in the GOPe such as McCain with this Russian ties BS have put Trump in a compromised position both by the so called establishment and the Russians themselves.

Trump is a fake dossier concocted by either our own intel community, or the Russians away from impeachment hearings.

This sucks. Flynn was good.

He was a KGB Putin stooge. Even before his suggesting to the Russians that Trump would lift the sanctions, top appointees in the Trump admin were suspicious of him. In Dec 2016 he was invited to attend a gala celebrating the 10th anniversary of the state-controlled 'news and information' (Russian propaganda) outlet Russia Today. He was viewed in such high regard by the Russians that he was given a seat 2 away from Putin himself.

Here below is some background on Russia Today (RT) for you or anyone else who apparently doesn't know much if anything about it...

Mikhail Lesin, co-founder of the Russian government-controlled news outlet "Russia Today" (RT), which the FR Putinistas often link to in their threads, was found dead in a Wash DC hotel in November of 2015.

Word is he had had a falling out with Putin and was about to become an informer, a 'snitch'. Putin's Russia is very much like the Mafia.

RT (Russia Today) and the other Moscow-controlled media outlets reported at the time that there were no signs of foul play--that he died of a heart attack.

However, when the autopsy report came out 4 months later (March 2016) it was revealed that he actually died as a result of blunt force trauma to his head and body.

Whether Putin had him murdered or not, as he had many political foes and former colleagues previously is not 100% certain. But just check out how the media there operates. And I'm fully aware of how the left-wing snooze media here continuously covers for the Rats. But what they do in Russia is a lot worse.

Mikhail Yuriyevich Lesin (July 11, 1958 – November 5, 2015) was a Russian political figure, media executive and an adviser to president Vladimir Putin.[1]

In 2006 he was awarded the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", one of Russia's highest state decoration for civilians.

Mikhail Lesin was nicknamed the Bulldozer because of his ability to get virtually all Russian media outlets under The Kremlin's control.[2]--wikipedia

"RT [Russia Today] has been called a propaganda outlet for the Russian government[10][11][12] and its foreign policy[10][11][13][14] by former Russian officials[15] and by news reporters,[16] including former RT reporters.[17][18][19]

It has also been accused of spreading disinformation.[20][21][22]

The network states that it offers a 'Russian perspective' on global events.[24]"

Vladimir Putin's media Svengali who was found dead in DC hotel was 'murdered for being an FBI informant'

______________________________________________________

" [RT (Russia Today) founder, Mikhail] Lesin was a central figure in the early Putin years, spearheading the Kremlin's effort to silence the country's independent television, the first step in the consolidation of authoritarian rule.

The first target was NTV, at that time Russia's largest and most popular independent TV channel, whose hard-hitting news broadcasts, talk shows, and satirical programs criticized the government over growing corruption and the war in Chechnya and gave airtime to the opposition.

In June 2000, a month after Putin's inauguration, NTV's founder and majority shareholder, Vladimir Gusinsky, was arrested and placed in Moscow's infamous Butyrka prison.

While he was there, the information minister made an offer: Gusinsky could have his freedom if he agreed to transfer his media holdings to Gazprom, the state-owned energy monopoly. ..."
