"Collateral Beauty" has already had a bit of a hammering from film critics and fans, and things have just gotten worse.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the film has now given star Will Smith the worst wide debut of his career. Ouch.

Despite featuring Smith and a host of other big names, including Helen Mirren, Keira Knightley, and Kate Winslet, the movie opened to just $7 million in ticket sales this weekend.

That puts it at fourth place in the US box office, well behind the top-ranking "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," which took an estimated $155 million in its first weekend.

The film features Smith playing an advertising man who writes letters to the concepts of Time, Love, and Death to seek solace and guidance after the death of his child.

Disappointed, but not surprised about Smiths Trump bashing, typical celeb. I liked him in the Men in Black movies, especially MIB 3 where he goes back to 1969 in NYC. Brought back some fond childhood memories, particularly the scene at Shea Stadium, I still miss that place.

Will Smith movies are typically innocent and pretty entertaining.
During the past decade I have kind of "zoned-out" on movies since I'm tired of leftwinger chatter.
By the time I think of the movie, it is already free-on-demand on my cable television.

I happened to see the trailer for "Collateral Beauty" before watching a very good movie "Sully".

The previews (allegedly the best scenes of the film) genuinely stank, almost painfully so; and I would actually pay money to NOT watch this movie.
