It’s very funny. They had reruns on tv here along with Mr Bean, and Fawlty Towers.

ok, yeah i am a Jesus bug, but if you let God serve salvation to you, then your whole life will become a comedy, in the classic sense

God knows how to do a joke too, a joke on the devil.

...another Brit series I really enjoyed was Up Pompeii...the racest...lol...brief “skin” was also
Also the norm...early 70s..a Dial soap commercial
on TV also clued me in what to expect, a young woman in the shower naked from the waist up....

Unless you’re a self righteous “Jesus bug” Then I guess it means you have no sense of humor.

I love ‘Keeping Up Appearances”!

Another great series, from Canada, is “Corner Gas”
There’s a few TY channels that have most of the episodes.
It’s a Must Watch comedy series

"...my three years in England 70-73 were the best as far as being entertained.... Monty Python was the rave....racey was the norm"

I'll second that. I lived there from '72-'77. Monty Python, The Goodies, and Fawlty Towers always kept my family amused. And The Benny Hill show.

It’s sad to think that everyone who was a member of the main cast of that show is now dead (except for Mike Berry who joined in the last season I believe).

My grandmom loves watching that on PBS...Mrs. Slocum is funny and Mr. Grace is a typical old man...

I didn’t really understand that post at #4, why it was necessary. Didn’t seem germane to me.

Has Mrs. Slocum not gotten a pet cat yet? I thought at least one reference to it was required per episode.
