I don’t know what the motives are for running a 2 month old story, a story that has been hashed and rehashed so many times.
But I agree, this sort of thing does stir the pot.
I have a feeling Trump has plans for Soros & the Clintons. A natural causes heart attack would work for Soros. Betcha the Russians would help out there.
In most states, they are required to vote per the popular vote for their state / district. In several states, like Michigan, they are in theory swayable - hence the liberal death threats to the electors to try to sway their votes.

Well we are well beyond the Sept. 18, 2016 date that this article was published.
The election has been held and EC votes awarded. Now true only 29 states require
the EC votes in their state are bound as the voters deemed on election day. Thus
21 states and DC can play around a bit but if the electors honor their state’s
choice then Hillary’s congratulations to Trump will stand.
In my prayer times I was asking God— please 300 ECv’s for Trump. Well the Almighty added 6 to top it off. Well I’m convinced the election had some Divine input.
I know some “conservative” Never-Trumpers who bit the big one as well.
