The wikileaks called them the compliant masses.

I have experienced the same. Agreed - first time the libs attack - call them out on it and suggest a more mature, respectful conversation. Some do ask for proof - I give it to them in the form of the wikileaks, and videos. Your experiences mirror mine including the HOLY CRAP moments. That is why Facebook and twitter are vital. I don’t mind spoon feeding the information to those who are clueless - works with some, the others want to ignore what their eyes and ears tell them.

You hit on the absolute truth of how liberals see themselves. I said this yesterday on FR but you said it better,

Believing in liberalism makes them better people, in their minds. Always wanting to “give back” I hear them say. Republicans are evil, according to them.

Or rather, of trumpeting his/her “knowledge” as king without larger empirical evidence to point to.

The term “liberal” is about as much an oxymoron today as the term “gay” is. It is an inverted hijacking of the original concept. It would be difficult (though not impossible — when it pollutes the “conservative” sphere it is particularly ugly) to find those as grim as some “gays” or people so parsimonious as some “liberals.”

That’s because it isn’t about the mother’s life. It’s about the mother’s HEALTH. If you pay close attention to exactly what they say and write, the politicians and leaders of the movement are careful with their wording. I have learned that they use the argument that the abortion is for the sake of the mother’s HEALTH. By using these words, they create a legal loophole where they are able to claim that the mother would be stressed or depressed if she had a child. Therefore, they have to abort the child to prevent “stress”. It is NOT about saving the mother’s life.

Furthermore, if they were to be honest (impossible for a lib), they would look at the studies that show an overwhelming regret and high incidence of depression among women who abort. So even the argument that they are preventing depression is a big lie.

For your future reference, here is the wikileak emailed I referred to, Pedestal to Hillary Clinton:
https://wikileaks.org/podesta-emails/emailid/3774
“While this military/para-military operation is moving >> forward, we need to use our diplomatic and more traditional intelligence >> assets to bring pressure on the governments of Qatar and Saudi Arabia, >> which are providing clandestine financial and logistic support to ISIL and >> other radical Sunni groups in the region. This effort will be enhanced by >> the stepped up commitment in the KRG. The Qataris and Saudis will be put >> in a position of balancing policy between their ongoing competition to >> dominate the Sunni world and the consequences of serious U.S. pressure.”

I’m not aware of any “how to” book. If there were, I’d buy it. (Maybe I should write it, but it’s too late for this election cycle.)

My advice is to try to figure out what motivates them the most. To start, ask questions and do a lot of listening and very little arguing. Don’t expect them to give clear answers because they might not be introspective enough to know what and how they think, but ask anyway. It will accomplish several things:

1. They will appreciate you for taking an interest and listening to them. No one is going to change sides to join an enemy they hate. Listening makes you less “hatable”. They equate listening with caring. Remember Hitlery’s “listening tour” when she first ran for Senator? Real listening is caring. Hitlery’s listening was fake listening. When you really care about family and friends and really listen, they will know that and they will feel that.

2. It will force them to examine their own thinking and motivations. This can go in a number of directions. It might make them uncomfortable or defensive. It’s probably best not to push if they get defensive because when it’s all about emotion, that riles them.

3. Figure out what their top issues are, underlying the emotions. It can be different for each person.

4. Address the particular issue that matters to each person once you find out what it is. Example: Is it someone who thinks that conservatives are racists and haters? Can you point to examples of conservatives who aren’t? In particular, can you show them that you aren’t? (Liberals are often SHOCKED to find out that I am a conservative. But but but... you teach ESL to foreigners! And you’re a nice person!! And you coach and tutor inner city kids!!! How can you be a tea partier????)

One huge thing with liberals is that they think they have a monopoly on nice. No one wants to be associated with the “mean” party.

Another thing I do is to try to patiently explain that what appears nice on the surface (flinging welfare money to deadbeats) is NOT nice. I usually compare the government to the parents in a family and ask what a parent who really cares would do. Would loving parents let a deadbeat child live forever in their basement? Or do they want them to get out and stand on their own two feet? Yes, in an emergency, you will support a kid, but out of love you will push them out of the nest because in the long run they will be happier.

I hope that helps. Feel free to FReepmail me any time. I’ll do my best to answer any questions or brainstorm strategies with you.

Best of luck!
Best FReegards,
g

I attribute my perspective to having watched Evan Sayet’s Unified Field Theory of Liberalism video a few times. Before hearing his description of liberalism, I lacked portions of vocabulary and clarity needed to object to what is so obviously wrong. :)

A colleague of mine slipped and said of another colleague - “She’s a GOOD LIBERAL.” It was like she was saying “She is a good person!” so that if you are not liberal, you are not good or decent.
Today, I was applying to rent property and the owner paused to say that he hated the insanity of Trump supporters and he wanted me to know that. Really - he can’t get a rent check from someone who votes differently?

Ping.

Thank you for introducing me to Evan Sayet.

Sayet is called a “conservative comedian”, but he’s reallyi a brilliant Heritage Foundation-style researcher and political philosopher who realizes that the best way to get his points across is through insightful/entertaining speeches and comedy.

I’m going to be spending some time listening to the guy’s many YouTubes.

The millennials do NOT know what’s going on. They are the ones to reach through Facebook and twitter, but I do agree the power brokers on the left are fully aware - lots of them named in the wikileaks, so we now have proof.
I have NO doubt you know more about it than I do.

This is, in Julian Assange’s words, not an election but a power consolidation. The Saudi’s did give Clinton $50 million, Hillary Clinton DOES know they logistically and financially support ISIL , Qatar too and I disagree with you (I thought everyone had seen this, but do you need the wikileaks email specifically referencing this?)- the Saudi’s need the U.S. - protection.
Which Saudis? The King? Someone in his family? One of the princes/princesses? One of bin Laden's clan?
There are millions of Saudis, of course. I can't think of anyone in the royal family who would give an infidel (non-Muslim) one stinking riyal.

As for charity, it does NOT refer ONLY to Muslims. You are dead wrong in that. THAT I know, having lived there for five years. But, how on earth would you get any positive information about ANYTHING Muslim in this country?
He even donates to India and they are almost all HINDUS.

By the way, you're correct about the Saudis needing our protection. The Saudis DO have our protection. There has been an Air Force base over there since 1980 at least. None of Americans knew about it but our Brit connection (for scotch) told us about it since THAT is where he got all the booze he snuck into the country.
Later we ALL knew about it as we would see the U.S. jets (occasionally) fly over the refineries.

They USED to have South Korean regulars guarding the refinery in Ras Tanura as well. THEY know they can't protect themselves. Who knows who they have hired recently.

My point - the royal family wouldn’t give a non-muslim anything.

I do have a great deal of information on the wikileaks - thank you for that. The Clinton Foundation donor list will give you some names. Let me warn you, however, the tax return filed had to be pulled back. Apparently, there were at least 5 foreign donors omitted from the list.

I disagree, I have heard favorable stories on muslims in this country for many years.

Well I would guess that you didn't hear them on the major networks or from some "sweetheart" like Nancy Grace.

That’s a great question. I am sure I have the right answer on this. Yes, they do know Trump is telling the truth and that their worldview is incorrect, however, as long as their leadership tells them the lies that they want and need to believe they can continue to support a system and leaders that lie. They can operate full well knowing what Hillary says is a lie as long as they hear her say it’s Truth. They don’t want to face the truth as real truth, which is why I think many to most of the left refuse to believe in the God of the bible. They simply need the lie to believe it, they know it’s a lie and choose to believe it.
