Excuse the vanity, but I had a sudden revelation Friday that I thought I'd share. A liberal co-worker was going on about Trump's "(expletive deleted) lies" during the debate. I asked him to name one. He said, "That (expletive deleted) about gays being thrown off buildings in the Middle East for one. He just makes (expletive deleted) up!" He laughed and shook his head in the familiar attitude of the self-righteous lib.
"Dude," I said. "That's true. They do that."
"(Expletive deleted)!"
"Look it up."
To his credit, he did some Googling. When I saw him later, he said,"I (expletive deleted) looked that up. That's (expletive deleted) twisted! I can't believe they (expletive deleted) do that (expletive deleted)!"
Which gave me a sudden realization -- nothing major to any of us around here but kind of startling nonetheless. People like my low-information co-worker are so low-information they are convinced Trump is lying or making things up when he is just stating the absolute truth that the mainstream media isn't giving them. I liked thinking that Trump's expressed truth about Hillary and crazy liberal nonsense was educating the low-info dullards, now I wonder just how many of them are so far gone, and don't bother to do the Googling my co-worker did, that they honestly think he's just making stuff up out of whole cloth.
Like I say, this doesn't surprise most of us here, but it's unsettling to think we live now in a society where perhaps a majority of the people are so propagandized they not only don't, but WON'T believe the truth.

Ain’t it funny how the left carries on about how people should be aware, but do everything they can to keep it from actually happening?
The left does NOT know the lies that Clinton et al is telling. Facebook is a tool to get the word out using wikileaks specific emails to refute the lies. Key emails are: the ones showing collusion with just about every major media, the one about Clinton taking $50 million from Saudis, knowing they financially support ISIS, the ones talking about the compliant public for just a few.
I think everyone of us has to take on the job of fact check and supply the links to those who don’t know the truth.

Just heard a similar story tonight. Husband’s niece is such a Hillary fan that she won’t speak to her mom due to mom already voting for Trump. This millennial will NOT believe Hillary is for late-term abortions. Niece is in absolute denial. Talk about blinders.
If she is in denial about that, what other FACTS is she not facing? Ignorant electorate.
The word would get around that Trump isn't making this stuff up and no need to research it on the Internet.

keep them unaware and compliant, I believe they stated in their wikileaks as the goal.. Just tonight someone posted on Facebook about Hillary and her campaign inciting violence and this guy commented.. “does anyone really believe that crap”. I had to link to articles and videos for them..
My neighbor, young family from the Phillipines, and I were working on our mutual fence in the back. then we chatted and got onto the election. He said he doesn’t like Hillary and is worried about healthinsurance, he then added “i don’t read or watch that much politics.”

there was my opening! I explained about Obama care..we had a nice pleasant discussion, then I talked about taxes...etc. A nice ten minute conversation..I need to have more of these..to “help’ people be able to vote for trump.
Their worldview is just so bizarre. They are running the most obviously-corrupt politician the United States has ever known, while acting like Donald Trump allegedly making a pass at a woman is akin to nuclear war, they teach about Mohammed in grade school classrooms while sending students home for talking about Jesus, they roundly criticized GWB for what proved to be success in Iraq, while staying silent as Obama proceeded to completely botch the entire Middle East.

I do not separate Trump 1 inch from real “conservatism”. Conservatism was stolen from us by globalist anti-sovereigntist. Global interventionists with your blood and your wealth in countries we don’t give a crap about. “Conservatism” does not go along with a 20 trillion dollar debt and 1.7 trillion dollar budgets to fund illegal amnesty!! No sir— Trump is the epitome of conservatism absolutely with out any doubt. They stole the definition!! We are taking it BACK!!
If we don’t talk to libs, we can’t educate them, and they will remain liberal and uninformed.
Think of them as pre-conservatives who need to be educated. Education doesn’t happen overnight and not all are capable of learning or even of seeing the truth. But it sounds to me like JennysCool’s friend was smart enough and honest enough to admit the truth when he saw it.

During a conversation with my Socialist brother, he said ‘no one knows what happened in Benghazi’. I told him that 30+ people survived the terrorist attack. He had no idea, but I’m sure he will vote for Hillary anyway.
I believe they have a psychological need to believe things that Hillary says and disbelieve what Trump says. Believing as they do supports their need to be “special snowflakes” who are “more moral” than the rest of us.
Being liberal is, in their minds, a sign of selflessness(!!!!) and altruism (sorry - forgot the barf alert).
So when they come face to face with the truth, many are so threatened by not being right, pure, etc. that they cover their ears and start screaming “LIAR!” and “RACIST!” etc. Sometimes you see them wake up and if so, they walk around depressed because information seems to point to them being a (moral) legend in their own mind. SOme come out of that depression by rationalizing “Well ok, she lied about that but only because the repubs made her do it” or “Okay but Trump is WORSE!”
I have a hard time thinking about all that has been released vi Wikileaks and there’s still a “race” on? ALl that she did and they don’t care? Ah, but it’s themselves they care about. They are going to “lie for the team” so they can pretend they were never on the wrong team to begin with.

Try to get her to watch a youtube of the 3d debate. Or just an excerpt where Hitlery talks about abortion.
Hitlery says in her own words that she favors late term abortions. She argues about it for several minutes. It’s pretty hard to miss.
