Shes in trouble, people.
First, lets look at some recent top line data:
Trump has a three-point advantage over Clinton among likely voters in the Silver State (4340 percent). Libertarian Gary Johnson receives eight percent. Nevada voters also can cast a ballot for none of these, and that option takes four percent. Green Party candidate Jill Stein is not on the ballot in Nevada.
In North Carolina, Trump is up by five points among likely voters. He receives 45 percent to Clintons 40 percent, and 6 percent favor Johnson. Stein is not on the ballot.
The Buckeye State is another must-win for Trump, and the poll finds him up by five points among likely voters: 4237 percent. Johnson receives six percent and Stein gets two percent.
While I am aware that the general election is a very different beast than the primaries, I cant help but feel that conditions are very similar to what was happening at the end of the Republican primaries when voters suddenly broke decisively for Trump. Recall that Cruz had been looking very strong after Wisconsin, and both Cruz and his supporters seemed to think a strong showing in New York might be possible.
And then after he made the mistake of publicly celebrating his voterless victory in Colorado, everything suddenly changed. His poll numbers crashed and he began losing critical primaries to Trump, with more and more polls and events going Trumps way culminating in Trumps win in Indiana. The reason I bring Cruz up is that I feel events are developing in a very similar way to the manner in which the Republican primary ended.
After weeks of calling Trump supporters conspiracy theorists for asking questions about her health, she collapsed on September 11th, alarming both her supporters and the American public. While the data in this article is a bit old, by the time her collapse happened, her favorable ratings had already fallen through the floor:
Even after becoming the presumptive Democratic nominee, Clinton has seen little improvement in her standing among Democrats and Democratic leaners. According to Gallup, Clintons favorable rating among those groups was 68 percent on the day of the California primary (June 7). Today, it stands at 70 percent. In other words, nearly a third of Democrats dont hold a favorable view of her. At this point in the 2008 campaign, only 14 percent of Democrats didnt hold a favorable view of Barack Obama, according to Gallup 84 percent did. Even if most Democrats prefer Clinton to Trump, a sizable portion of them do so at this point without liking her.
I believe the collapse proved to be Hillarys Colorado moment, which caused voters to make some decisions and switch to supporting Trump. Again, also similar to Indiana, the Clinton campaign seems to have begun lurching from disaster to disaster. She never showed up in Louisiana:
Three days after the devastation occurred, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and running mate Mike Pence toured and area and handed out supplies. President Obama rightly criticized both for not interrupting his Marthas Vineyard vacation to visit, but more importantly, not even making one statement on the matter while away went to Louisiana five days after Trump and Pence.
Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton has promised she will only visit the area at a time when the presence of a political campaign will not disrupt the response. Most media collectively nodded its head in agreement with Clintons perspective and have moved on since the waters receded.
So here we are, nearly three weeks after the fact. Her opponent and her former boss have each gone to the state, both reportedly not hampering recovery efforts in any capacity. If Clinton went now all this time later, its doubtful she would be getting in the way of anything.
While the national media has moved on, The Advocate Louisianas largest newspaper directly challenged Clinton four days ago in an op-ed.
She blew it at the Candidate Forum...[snip]
Suddenly, Lauer is garbage, no betterin the eyes of the mainstream mediathan some basement-dwelling right-wing blogger.
His sin? He allowed Trump to speak during the candidate forum, and didnt press the Republican presidential nominee on his answers to the liking of the liberal media. This morning, I detailed the extent of the hate being spewed against Lauer by his colleagues in the mainstream media.
And its not letting up. The New York Times editorial board wrote on Friday that moderators should do more than ask questions and let candidates answerthey should engage in rigorous (probably NYTapproved) fact checking.
It seems obvious theyre all just upset that Trump hasnt said or done anything to take the heat off of Clintons two weeks of bad news coverage. Previously, whenever bad news broke for Clinton, Trump was there to say or do something outrageous that would suck up attention and allow Clinton to skate scrutiny. That has changed since Kellyanne Conway became campaign manager, Steve Bannon of Breitbart News became campaign CEO, and Jamestown Associates (full disclosure: a group I am collaborating with on a documentary) took over communications.
They launched an attack on a cartoon frog:
In an attempt to horrify potential Clinton supporters, Elizabeth Chan, one of Clintons senior strategists wrote, that Pepe the Frog is a symbol associated with white supremacy.
Wait. Really? White supremacy?, the post continues before explaining that Pepe is a cartoon frog who began his internet life as an innocent meme enjoyed by teenagers and pop stars alike.
But in recent months, Pepes been almost entirely co-opted by the white supremacists who call themselves the alt-right. Theyve decided to take back Pepe by adding swastikas and other symbols of anti-semitism and white supremacy, it continues.
The post then uses this as an attempt to attack Trump, who retweeted a mocked up image of himself as Pepe the Frog in October last year.
This is not a well-running campaign. This is the sign of a rudderless and confused campaign flailing around helplessly, sensing the moment is slipping away from them, and unsure of how to stop the bleeding. Instead, theyre making gaffe after gaffe, and theres no sign that they know how to respond to Trump creeping up on Hillary in the polls. That theyve gone back to the tactics of inciting violent riots like the ones in Charlotte is a sign of how much trouble they are in, as they already had to abandon this tactic when it was causing Trumps poll numbers to go up immediately prior to the convention. ...[snip]
Where does Hillary go from here? I think its all downhill.
From citizen to President...knocking out the Bush and Clinton cabals along the way. One of the greatest American patriots in the last 200 years.
HOORAY Trump
Even better. From the penthouse office of his own skyscraper.
Yeah, he built that!
One week after the results are certified as a Trump win, impeach Obama and have Hillary arrested. Collateral arrests should extend to a who’s who list of the DNC and their political or government employee allies. Make America Great Again, restore the rule of law.
But more so, I will be looking forward to the words “President Trump”!
She is yelling, demanding, no policies, no plans, nothing but Trump, Trump, Trump...
This is an election like we have never seen before, and probably won't ever again...we have a 40 year politician with nothing but scandal after scandal after scandal...Colin Powell was right: “Whatever she touches turns bad”...
We have an outsider, who has never held a government position, who has a world know multi business, who would rather mingle with the taxi drivers, the construction workers, the plumbers, the electrician and with the women in this trade to promote, and stops and talks to everyday people on the streets all over America...
How lucky are we to have this opportunity to elect someone who relates to WE THE PEOPLE...WOW it is breath taking to see Trump criss cross the country day after day after day, holding the largest rallies we have ever seen, and as the chairman of the RNC party has said, he has brought in more new voters in the history of the party, and he is raising monies for the party like never before, and not a cent is he taking for himself, he is self funding and has been this whole time...except for a few of us that send him 5 or 10 dollars here and there...
If we don't take this chance to elect this man who has meet with the President of Mexico, Egypt and now Israel and walked away with stunning remarks of how much they like him, we are stupid...
GO.TRUMP/PENCE.GO!!! ALL THE WAY TO THE OVAL OFFICE!!!
AAAUUGGGHHH! No, you can't say that!! My Hillary-supporting ears are burning!!!
Rather than the walls closing in on Hellary, I, along with other patriots, look forward to the day, following their trial, conviction, and sentencing for treason, when the trap doors fall open beneath the feet of Hellary, Bill, Barack and many other members of Barack's kakistocracy standing on the gallows.
Rather than the walls of coffins, these traitors should be allowed to rot off the noose and left for their kindred vermin and maggots.
Personally, thinking more of the apparatus used by the French. We might then bronze the heads for history and posterity....that we never follow this path ever again. We can only learn by the history we are taught. Looking across this fruited plain, many Americans need to learn, and learn quickly!
It was seen this evening, here at FR where Cruz has attempted to accomplish a ‘do over’ on his TRUMP vote, by saying he has doubts about a TRUMP Presidency and how effective it would be. The little weasel cannot be trusted. The only way to keep him quiet would be to kick him to the pile of deplorables
I said to a friend of mine yesterday, on face book of all places and how do we really know he will vote for Trump, probably needs the money for 2018 from the RNC, that's all he's interested in...
Looks like I might have gotten that one right...

How sad that for most “it’s all about the money” This is the failure of society. It will be America’s downfall. How much is enough?
Vanity Post: Why I am a rabid Trump Supporter Today”
Trump was not my first, second or even third choice. He is our candidate and that is reason enough to support him.
However, I have come to understand that the elite of the Republican Party and the Elite of the Democrat Party are both enemies of the Constitution. The elite of both parties need to be destroyed for the good of the country. Trump can do this. The media elite will be the media elite but Trump has shown the ability to run circles around them as they say, “what the hell just happened?”
Donald Trump has promised to appoint judges like Anthony Scalia. The greatest danger to the Constitution are the activist Supreme Court judges. As Scalia said, “The only think wrong with a living constitution is that will destroy the constitution.”
Today I am a rabid Donald Trump Supporter.
Wow! The Hillary Horror Picture Show. Got popcorn?
think = thing (my stupid fingers misspelled again)
