Why does Glenn Beck hate Trump so much?
Posted on 09/24/2016 7:18:34 AM PDT by MNDude
Does anyone here understand Beck's intense hatred for Trump? I mean he seems to have more in common in values with Beck than Hilary (pro-gun, pro-life, constitutionial justices.) So what rationale does he give for his hatred towards the man while he has the "oh whatever" attitude towards Hillary? Anyone know?

None of the #nevertrumpism makes any sense when the choices are Hillary or Trump.
You simply have to have gone mad to think she's an acceptable alernative.

Beck is unexplainable. I was a big fan when he was exposing the obama regime early on, and he had an impact. Then he went off the rails. When or why, I don’t know.

When the person harboring a grudge is a one time national figure, and the personal grudge is making him behave in weird ways in support of a criminal enterprise (Hillary), it is news.

Because Glenn Beck was sent by God to sacrifice himself upon the alter of public opinion. Thus providing a way for the “select” to attain political righteousness through his political death and thereby receiving eternal everlasting high fives for political purity and smugness.

So, it’s the weekend and you’ve had a coupla beers. Why not post a thread with your thoughts? As long as it is about a “national figure” it’s cool. Right?

I often wonder with Glenn in "recovery" and DJT having a brother succumbing to Alcohol is their some angst about DJT and his status in that relm, given DJT deciding to never imbibe or do drugs etc post his brothers experience. I have stated before here on FR, the behavior of the TDS-er's IMHO boarders on some sort of compulsive/obsessive behavior, and how they won't let go of "it". That disturbs me more than anything.

The chosen one being Ted Cruz has somewhat fascinated me. Lets say it is so, that Cruz's dad's prophecy was spot on and that Ted would someday be president. So, on Ted's first run he loses. If you are a true believer, you would say, okay God's timing wasn't now. It is for another day and time. I'll chill here and wait for God's timing. Instead, they turn themselves inside out to be vile, proving that the prophecy was useless.
Suggestion to Cruz, Beck, et al: Learn from King David who was truly anointed to be king. Even while Saul was trying to destroy him, David would not lay a hand on him nor speak any evil against him. David courageously and patiently waited for the Lord's timing.

You may have noticed that beck likes to steal, pre-empt and usurp public stages, with large grandiose events; thus he places himself squarely front-and-center in importance.
He is a self-important lunatic who loves to take over the spotlight and say “this is not about me; it’s about YOU, the people; I’m just your humble servant.”
Trump was the only plausibly-successful candidate with whom beck had no shot whatsoever of co-opting his White House bound train. Seething at that is beck.

Just a guess, but I’d say he’s repositioning himself in the event of a Republican president and Congress — which won’t be conservative enough. If Trump wins and Congress holds, you’ve got a New York president, Wisconsin house speaker and a Kentucky senate majority leader. Nothing west of the Mississippi, and all from states with legacy manufacturing industries. None of them advocate the libertarian strain of Republicanism that’s been dominant in the western US since Goldwater. None of them have strong ties to the digital economy. Can’t look at the Rocky Mountain West results in the primaries and feel comfortable about GOP unity.
