A Minnesota elementary school teacher under investigation in a criminal case has been found dead along with his husband on an island in Washington state.
The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports 40-year-old teacher Aric Babbitt and his 36-year-old husband, Matthew Deyo, of South St. Paul, Minnesota were being investigated for allegations that authorities declined to specify, citing an active investigation.

Babbitt’s sister Sara said in a text message to friends Friday that Babbitt and Deyo were found dead Thursday on Lopez Island, in the San Juan Islands in the northwest corner of the state about 100 miles north of Seattle.
“There was an investigation that was going on, and they felt like they didn’t have an out and ending their lives was best for them,” she wrote in the text message, which was forwarded to the Pioneer Press. “We received a letter from them in the mail yesterday. We are all devastated and in a lot of pain.”

I can only think of pedophilia or child porn involving the students but this a public school, not a Catholic school, so I think the liberals are eager to bury that story.
Then liberals can return to their fantasyworld that gay couples are perfect parents who love children and aren't the perverts that the mean-spirited alt right would have us believe.
If you have children who went to the elementary school where he taught (particularly boys), should watch this like a hawk because I suspect there's going to be a lot swept under the rug on this one.

True. The Principals were men, but growing up I never knew of a male elementary school teacher.
They tended to be older women, because they enjoyed teaching, they had husbands who generally made enough money for them to live on, so the money wasn’t the reason they wanted to teach.
He might not have had a lot of veto power over the individual scripts. I don’t know what an actor’s contract entails. I’d hate to be four seasons into a show and get the script direction, “Hero kisses man he saves.” Not happening!
Babbitt, who taught at Lincoln Elementary School, was put on paid leave by South St. Paul schools after the district learned of the allegations about two weeks ago, Superintendent Dave Webb said Monday.
The school district is also conducting an investigation into the allegations, he said. Webb would not disclose the nature of the allegations, saying they involve private personnel data.
Babbitt was hired by the school district on Aug. 28, 2002, and has taught grades 1, 2, 5 and 6. He was supposed to teach fourth grade this upcoming school year, which starts Sept. 6.
Babbitt had not been disciplined by the school district previously, Webb said.
Again, speaking from experience that does not strike me unusual. Often “these things” are taken care of with an agreement to resign and/or relinquish their teaching license. In some cases the offender goes on to teach at another school without the new school knowing of past allegations.
Probably helpful that Babbitt’s father, Dana, was superintendent of the South St. Paul school district from 2003 to 2007. He was previously principal at South St. Paul High School and assistant superintendent in the South Washington County school district.

On “Leave it to Beaver,” back in the ‘50s, they had a female principal. It couldn’t have been too weird, or viewers would have questioned it.

I think Wally’s high school had a man for principal, though. But point taken.
I just think that it was a little more usual then to have male principals. I know I had only men for school principals throughout grade school. A woman would have seemed weird to me.
Babbitt is more typical of homosexuals than the left would like to admit.
