On “Leave it to Beaver,” back in the ‘50s, they had a female principal. It couldn’t have been too weird, or viewers would have questioned it.

I think Wally’s high school had a man for principal, though. But point taken.
I just think that it was a little more usual then to have male principals. I know I had only men for school principals throughout grade school. A woman would have seemed weird to me.
